Really disappointed that they nerfed Sine Aequo, from granting more damage to increased damage instead..
Like, we literally have SO many increased damage nodes in the passive tree already, that's one of biggest problems with the passive tree in fact, most nodes are either generic or ultra conditional Besides bloodmage with pin, no meta build relies on immobilization afaik because they do more than enough damage to clear everything in the game already, no need to immobilize enemies when you one shot them Any off meta build that relies on immobilization got heavily nerfed for no good reason Last edited by Vyend#2601 on May 22, 2026, 5:28:16 AM

" Ah yes, that is amazing. Ruined all fundamentals across the board but made THORNS. Who tf cares about the stupid thorns dude... |

Armor and evasion sucks. Better nerf ES!
I'm probably gonna be skipping this league. Between gutting the only good defense, minions haven't gotten any real buffs to compete with other builds, and Essence Drain still in an abysmal state for single-target, there's just nothing in the game to hook me. I've got better things to do with my time than be a perpetually broke bitch whose builds plateau early and struggles in endgame. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! The others found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on juice. I am not so foolish. Last edited by Pizzarugi#6258 on May 22, 2026, 12:19:50 PM

"The patch comes with 4 leagues worth of crafting options. Including a whole new brand of defense. I think people are really exaggerating about the "nerfs". Because the new items and crafting options are a power increase and we don't know really how much of an effect they will have until we play them. It could easily be that all these 'nerfs' are not going to be noticeable because people will just find new items that compensate for them. |

" I don't "craft", because I refuse to participate in gambling. These additions mean nothing to me and will provide no improvements to the builds I run nor the defenses I use. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

The nerfs are fine, and needed IMO. This game desperately needs balance. The problem is the timing on nerfs. They should come much much quicker than they do and be done in season. This is early access. When shit is busted as bad as BM CoC was, just totally wrecking the game, they need to fix it asap. I don't agree with how they manage this.
Otherwise people get accustomed to it and think this is what the game is supposed to be. I know people will cry that their 'early access' meant for testing character got nuked...but it would be better for the long term of the game that they nerf broken shit faster. Doing so also gives more time to test the fixes, and implement more changes/nerfs where needed...imagine that. This is all GGGs fault anyway. They've been trying to have it both ways with this being an early access game that they want to also be a full release money making thing at the same time. The game definently needs balance but the way they go about it is really questionable it's seems like all they know how to do it take what little fun is in the game out

" Yea. It's not that they nerf'd things it's that it took them so long to do so and they doubled down with some rather drastic numbers. That's just not a good approach. The real shame is that the buffs are not notable in majority of cases. Skills aren't being used because of fundamental flaws like me mocking banner movement speed Vs placement speed. I'm amazed they didn't even bother with things like Scarred Faith which was DOA. This is literally supposed to be Divine Shield in PoE2 which helps Armor/ES work.
