Yeah, definetly right direction from GGG.

Previously all you had to do is just get more damage and you got more leech. Now since there is damage cap and only one leech instance active at once, you need to actually put passive points to nodes that say "increased mana/health leech" if you are reliant of that kind of gameplay/sustain.


leech needed to be nerfed but we're going from one extreme to the other. attack builds that aren't pure physical are gonna be unplayable unless they change leech to recover from all damage sources. chaos will be unplayable unless chayula, elemental will be unplayable unless you have the lineage gem (it will be impossibly expensive). even if pure physical you're gonna feel the pain until you get a good weapon. assuming you are chayula, have lineage gem, or a good physical weapon, its still a massive nerf to attack builds. we lost +2 to skills overall which idk what the average is maybe 15-20%, plus we will have to path to leech nodes which will probably be another 15-30% damage nerf. there is also the possibility of needing to take the leech support gems, both of them, which is another 20-60% damage nerf. meanwhile, casters didn't get a +skills nerf, the energy shield recharge nerf is dumb cuz they massively buffed recoup which was the strongest in the game by far. all that will do for casters is make early game worse and endgame better. casters don't have to worry about leech at all (unless bloodmage) cuz they all rely on innate regen or recoup. the double standard is bs (no cd blink nerf when)
