Hope its nerfed

why not:
Buff all things but: Instead of nerf them? (you hate other players man?) Last edited by GatoPreto1718#7829 on May 19, 2026, 5:30:45 PM

Because making everything more powerful will only accelerate the gameplay and these goblins won't even get to live half a second, like they already do, where as nerfing stuff can slow down the gameplay and people can finally enjoy a little back and forth, some interaction of sorts as the fight goes on.
I mean, nobody likes watching a 10 second boxing match, for example. |

yes lets nerf every skill that is good in the campaign so the campaign becomes even more of a slog.

" Yes, op skills appear every season. I like the approach where the developer kills each one. It's more interesting. If you don't nerf skills, most people will start the league with the same imbalance because it's the most effective. (Me too) p.s I like these builds (grenades, twister, ice shot, spears before nerf, accuracy stacker(0.1)). Last edited by Rassomaxa69#5346 on May 20, 2026, 12:01:27 AM

" If I were to use poe1 as a reference, I don't think people who started with Hexblast for a couple of years would like it. I'll just start with Grenades/Twister unless they get nerfed every league, because it's effective. I don't hate people, but without nerfs the meta won't move. |

POE and POE 2 suffer from what * like to call 'forever game syndrome".
This means no ballance, or selective balance to make players come back each league. And to add to the problem GGG can't balance the monster they created; not enough people and time to do it So, on conclusion: toss your coin, and whatever happens happens. |

Demanding balance in an ARPG is a hopeless cause because not only will you face the wrath of the "best build" google searchers who need their build guides to get anywhere with their game-breaking copycat builds, but you also can never expect balance from the developers either because intentional "meta" seems to be a thing where they intentionally leave certain skills blatantly overpowered. Not to mention the fact that they seem to conveniently forget to balance things sometimes.

" They can't balance it. The game has so many skills, and skill interactions that it is physically not possible to balance it. Something somewhere will always slip through the cracks. What bothers me is the chaotic "balancing" we do get, and I use balancing quite loosely here. Like that time when lightning arrow and lightning spear were dominating endgame and GGG nerfed warrior.....because f*** logic. |
