[Tool] AnnulFilter — PoE 2 Loot Filter Editor (Early Beta) | Build your filter from scratch
|
Hey exiles,
I've been working on AnnulFilter, a free web-based loot filter editor for Path of Exile 2. The idea behind it is simple: I wanted a tool that lets you build your own filter from scratch and actually understand what you're creating as you go — with a visual editor that shows you the result in real time. 🔗 AnnulFilter.com Current features: Visual editor — create a filter from scratch, rule by rule, and see what you're building as you go Import & edit — import any existing .filter file and edit it directly inside the tool Reusable visuals — save your color/icon/beam setups once and reuse them across rules for a consistent filter Search bar — find any rule, condition, or item across your entire filter instantly Rename rules — rename a single rule or all rules at once, particularly useful when working with imported filters Prebuilt rules — the most common rules found across popular filters, ready to add in one click Wiki tab — every item you add to your rule conditions gets a direct link to its Path of Exile 2 wiki page Roadmap: The tool is in early beta. I'll be updating it once the 0.5 patch notes drop so it's ready when the new league hits. Features and prebuilt rules will keep expanding — if there's a rule you think should be in the prebuilt library, let me know. Any feedback is welcome — bugs, missing features, UX issues, or suggestions. Reply here or reach out directly. Thanks for checking it out 🙏 Last bumped on May 29, 2026, 4:11:23 PM

This tool has real promise! I will be watching updates and using the tool. I am coming from grinding.zone, which is now dead. I want more control over my filter than Filterblade gives me. I really like the folder structure you have added.
One UI feature that would be nice is to be able to see a splash of multiple items in a visual editor to see how the items all compare and contrast against each other. Another UI feature that would be nice is a folder->subfolder structure. For example, I could nest all Rares in a folder then nest Rare Weapons in a subfolder then all Rare Staves in a subfolder of that. And same with armours...the same folder-subfolder structure. Folder->Subfolder->Subfolder: Rares->Weapons->1h Maces Rares->Weapons->Wands Rares->Weapons->Staves Rares->Weapons->Sceptres Rares->Weapons->Bows Rares->Armour->Body Armours Rares->Armour->Boots Rares->Armour->Gloves Rares->Armour->Helmets And you could even go deeper with the subfolders: Rares->Armour->Body Armours->Energy Shield Rares->Armour->Body Armours->Evasion Rares->Armour->Body Armours->Armour Rares->Armour->Body Armours->ES & Evas Rares->Armour->Body Armours->ES & Armour Last edited by AreYouSeriousClark#2271 on May 22, 2026, 5:39:18 PM

" Yes. It seems pretty easy to understand and navigate. One very minor thing that may be an improvement... under the visuals tab, when selecting border color, text color and background color, the color example you have in the small box to the left of the drop down could possibly be used as the custom color option (by just clicking on it)? I just noticed one more thing, when importing a filter that has already been automatically named and has folders added via your site, all of the folders on the left side of the UI are opened by default. Maybe the folders should, by default, start closed (collapsed) for a cleaner look? You could add the ability to add custom sounds:) I cant seem to find uncut skill, spirit or support gems in base types. Last edited by AreYouSeriousClark#2271 on May 22, 2026, 10:08:51 PM

" made the changes (turns out the change for the subfolders was easier than expected :) )for your previous message and this one. I added gems to class and base type. an update button at the bottom right and a checkbox to show nearby items in the live preview let me know what you think! |

Very nice! that was quick.
I am building a loot filter from complete scratch using your tool. I have been using Filterblade for my structure and organization. Below, I will note any missing base types/classes or any improvements you may be able to implement: 1) When adding a New Rule it would be quicker, or more efficient, for the rule to automatically be added to the folder or subfolder I have selected, rather than the top of the filter. Then i would not need to drag and drop the rule down my list of folders. 2) When selecting the Rule on the left column of your tool it properly displays the conditons on the right column of the tool. However, on the left column, it changes to display only the rule. I feel like it would be more efficient if the left column does nothing and continues to show the folder->subfolder->Rules hierachy. That would make it easier to move around the rules and folders quickly. 3) It may be nice to have a button somewhere at the top of the folder hierarchy column on the left to expand all/collapse all. 4) It seems Flails, Claws, Daggers, 1h Swords, 2h Swords, 1h Axes, 2h Axes are missinbg from classes. 5) Every time I download the filter and then reimport it into the site, it adds a rules number to the name of the rule. For example, if I were to download the filter and reimport it 5 times, it would change the name from "Strength Boots" to "46. 46. 46. 46. 46. Strength Boots". It also voids the rare/magic/normal coloring format you have nicely implemented into the rules names. I would personally disable the auto-numbering if given the ability to toggle enable/disable. I can keep looking for stuff:) Last edited by AreYouSeriousClark#2271 on May 23, 2026, 9:37:44 PM

Hey,
here is what was fixed this morning: - Click a folder to select it — new rules are added inside the selected folder (re-clicking on a folder deselect it) - Single button to expand or collapse all folders at once - Fixed import bug where rule names accumulated a numeric prefix on each re-import. - i did not understand your 2) -> i sent you a private message - i couldnt replicate this : " if you can send me the filter you are creating so i can try to replicate it, that would be great. i would also like to know what browser you are using if possible for your 4) this deliberate since i don't have any infos on them. i would love to add daggers tho. if you want, you can still add them manually directly in your .filter. -> added Additional Item Classes (what the hell, i can always change it later once they are officially added to the game xD) " yes please! i love getting feedback and fixing bugs. this is the weekend so i have way more free time Cheers ! Hey !
Here what was fixed this morning, thanks to you : - Folders can now be hidden — all rules inside are forced to Hide in the exported filter - Hidden folders display a red 'HIDDEN' badge and dim their contents including sub-folders - Hidden folder state persists across export and re-import - Click a folder to target it — new rules are inserted directly inside - Single button to expand or collapse all folders at once - Added Lesser, Medium, Greater, Grand, Giant, Colossal, and Transcendant Life and Mana Flasks to base types - Added Flails, Claws, Daggers, One Hand Swords, Two Hand Swords, One Hand Axes, and Two Hand Axes to item classes - Fixed rule names accumulating a numeric prefix on each filter re-import Last edited by hachichim#6632 on May 25, 2026, 6:22:10 AM

Dude! Your tool is looking great! Great recent changes. I love the most recent changes you made to hiding folders and the navigation around the rules on the left. Thanks:) Hopefully, all of the other non-filterblade users will start to notice:)
Also, I forgot to mention I use Chrome as my browser. If I were to be piddly...maybe the "show nearby items" checkbox you have could be a slider instead? So I could adjust it if I wanted to see 20-30 (or more or less) items instead of 6. Also, I think there would be a benefit to view ALL of the rules visuals in the filter, if I wanted to visually see how they all compare to each other or make sure I haven't configured any items the same. Maybe another small piddly change... If I am browsing around in my rules in the same folder on the left column, the right column could STAY on the visuals, conditions, filter text or links tab. Because that would make it quicker if I wanted to change only the visuals (or the other tabs) for several rules in the same folder. When the filter is first loaded, it gives the yes/no option to rename all of my rules based on their conditions. I personally don't really need this. Also, it could cause a little frustration if someone manually named all of their rules and accidentally selected yes. Maybe a 3rd option (yes/no/disable) to disable this prompt upon load? Possibly add the ability to add Custom Alert Sounds to the visuals tab? Transcendent Life/Mana are spelled incorrectly in your Base Types. It is "Transcendent" with an "e" :) Last edited by AreYouSeriousClark#2271 on May 25, 2026, 2:18:08 PM

" this one is tricky to add, i'll try different approaches... the rest is added/fixed (good catch on the typo for "Transcendent" btw!) here are the changes : - Active editor tab is now preserved when switching between rules - Post-import auto-name dialog now has a 'Don't ask again' option saved to local storage - Alert Sound now supports custom sound files via CustomAlertSound — place the file in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/ PS: you can't play the custom sound inside the tool since its on your PC. PS2: the custom sound should always be placed in the same directory as the .filter (i.e in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/) my tool looks great thanks to all your feedback man! |
