Can we get a solo self-trade league? No parties, but trading allowed.

Hey GGG,
I love PoE2 so far, but I have a weird ask. I really enjoy the trading economy, but I also hate feeling forced to party up for efficiency or to keep up with group loot / rotations. Would it be possible to add a separate server or league mode where: No partying allowed (completely solo, no grouping for maps or bosses) Trading stays fully enabled (unlike SSF) I know SSF exists, but I don’t want to cut myself off from trading completely. I just want to play solo without feeling like I’m at a disadvantage compared to people who run in groups all day. A solo trade mode would be perfect for players like me who enjoy the market but prefer to progress entirely on their own. It wouldn’t hurt the main trade league either – just give us a separate checkbox at character creation like SSF but with trade on. Anyone else feel the same? Or am I crazy? Thanks for reading. Stop comparing yourself to youtubers and you'll have fun.

Only RMT players care about the gap between their own earnings and those of their teammates.

you are still going to be at a disadvantage compared to the top players or people who farm 24/7. I don't think disabling group play is the solution you think it is

" What’s wrong with playing separately? Why are you against it? Afraid the currency you farmed by running six accounts at once won’t sell? |

" I'm not comparing myself to them. I'm talking about game mechanics. Right now, playing solo in trade league feels objectively worse because group loot and speed are overtuned. This isn't jealousy, it's a balance issue. I'm not comparing, I'm competing with the game's own economy. Group farming inflates prices for solo players. That has nothing to do with YouTube. |

" Ah yes, the classic "I have no idea how loot works and I have nothing to add, so I will just attack you personally about something I made up." Combat Balance > Feelings

" Let me copy paste it for you, from ten thousand other posts like this one: Boss-exclusive Uniques are not affected by rarity, nor party quantity bonus. Group pays for 1 entry, gets more difficult fight and the same chance to get the unique as a solo player. Which makes it's value to be divided by up to 6 when it drops. Technically drop value division per party member is balancing the singular Key entry cost. Having auras and buffs is balancing more difficult fight. The only thing not being balanced is that in a party you commit with up to 6 people's time for the reward of solo. Which makes parties in actual disadvantage (besides the raw currency or white bases farming). Thus, raw currency and white bases farming party advantage is what balances the Boss-exclusive drops that are in favour for solo player. Groups inflating the Currency value are effectively increasing the value of items from Boss-exclusive loot tables, which is balancing the issue. Also - more divs in the pool - more you can actually use them to roll mods on an item instead of stockpiling for a buy. Yes there was an issue with Temple and Inflacion curve it created. It's no longer the case. Combat Balance > Feelings Last edited by Evergrey#7535 on May 17, 2026, 8:29:16 AM

" That doesn't even make sense. I don't care what a teammate earns. I care that group play is objectively more rewarding than solo in trade league, which ruins the economy for solo players. Has nothing to do with RMT. You're just using a lazy ad hominem. |

" Let me copy paste it for you You're only looking at boss uniques. That's a tiny part of the economy. The real inflation comes from group farming of currency and bases, which affects everyone. Solo players get priced out of everything else, even if boss loot is technically 'balanced'. |
