Different league, same rarity

Launch a trade server where teaming is banned, let everyone and GGG see which side makes up the bulk of paying players. Everyone commenting here are core fans, while the silent majority just leave without a word.

The whole reason rarity is such a big problem in poe2, is precisely because the whole structure of loot acquisition has been copy&pasted from poe1; the worst part of it in fact - the Archnemesis league - which made rarity scale currency drops.
They had to backtrack from that, but somehow forgot the memo when they were designing the 'sequel'.

Due to how many interconnected systems poe1 has, rarity bots scale rewards an order of magnitude further, it just comes mostly from t0 uniques, instead of raw currency drops.
Hence why you stating that this is limited to poe2 is beyond ignorant.

I never claimed this wasn't a problem in either game - on the contrary - the fix however requires fundamental changes, therefore I'm simply pointing out to you, that you shouldn't expect it to happen before they produce basic content, like all the missing classes/ascendancies/weapon archetypes etc.

Creating separate leagues outside what we already have will never happen, since splitting the player base further is detrimental to keeping an economy based game alive.
