Campaign difficulty (group scalling) makes my friends do not want to play this game

The upcoming in game build guide feature will help with that. It may also help them to know that a campaign area can be run again by using ctrl click on the quest map. It will present the option to start a new instance of an area. In this way you can farm more items and levels to make the boss fights easier.

All my casual friends have been really happy with the multiplayer experience during the campaign.
If everyone has bad bills, it can make it harder for sure, but if everyone has decent builds it ends up easier from what we've seen. I would guess your friends aren't following guide so their builds agent good? Which is something you can force through solo, but in multiplayer it does stack up difficulty I can see that.

Did they start from Act 1? I would not mind having Act 1 group difficulty off or lesser

Seems to me like your friend needs that.

Poe HAS a learning curve. Without it, there is no Poe. And it makes the difference (among other things) to D4.
