Ravens flock level requirement

Hey team,

I get that it’s a strong item and thus you don’t want it to be available super early, but making it lvl84 means that most people won’t ever be able to play this build. Also, it means that the people that do play this build need to completely overhaul their character at lvl84, at which point point your character is already very strong.

I’m not sure what the right way is to address it, but I think it’d make sense to have this skill (or one that works similarly) available much earlier. Why not be able to use it from mid act 3 of the campaign for example?

Thanks for considering it

You could write simply, 'make it avalible earlier' :)

Becouse lvl 84 doesnt mean your character already strong. Also it doesnt required to compeltly overhaul your current build if you are certaion that you gonna swap into new build you can preplan and play along way.

Also i wish its earlier avalible too hehe but i think main problem is the source of weapon that where we get it from not the level requierment
i would like to level with tis weapon as a walking simulator to make the campaign go faster. but probably wouldn't use it in the endgame. not sure why its an end game item. a +5 minion sceptre and a shield is still better for minions

GGG let us use this staff in the campaign

I expect vice versa, I prefer to make a strong build for endgame not a use and throw away actualy

i might use it in end game. depends how strong it is. that boss in the demo died rather slow with it and im sure it was just a basic boss with no +levels on boss atlas tree

probably yes, and i agree it wont be op

and we dont know many things yet, what is default aoe radius, how large we can make it, can we dmg scale it with muster easyly, even with that is it reliable yet we sacriface +4/5 lvl minions from it etc.

I think it's fine as a Unique, the way GGG intends Uniques to exist.

Counter-argument: GGG just hasn't iterated on the Unique pool enough, adding and refining.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

I agree here.

It gives it an identity and something you would actually build around.

It's not just a "slap it on to become God" item. The level requirement for the high skill level is to make sure people don't trivialize early content with it.
Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either.

more like the level requirement is there because GGG wants the campaign to be a slow slog still. god forbid we had an item that could make campaign a bit more fun

If you find that weapon with inherit skill level 18, you can use it at level78. It is most likely a pinnacle boss drop so lowest inherit skill level it can drop is level17 ability.

Skill:
Level 20 = requires level 90
Level 19 = requires level 84
Level 18 = requires level 78
Level 17 = requires level 72
