Buuuuuut we still miss campaign skip

Game is awesome, so much content.

But it's a game of making builds, discovering and crafting items...

Most of time before the endgame content/quests/bosses are concluded there is a will of playing another character

AND that takes 6-8 hours of a campaign we already know by heart and are tired of doing over and over again...

Please ALLOW US to level up faster a new character

A catchup system, leveling in maps, skipping campaign, anything.

This would get me playing so much more time and trying so many other builds.

The way it is I, personally, just give up when I get tired of one character.

Not going to happen. Hopefully. Jonathan has mentioned several times that skip won't be coming. The campaign comes faster when you get currency and gear with your first character of the league.

I always streamline my second character. Run through areas, just getting the passives etc but skipping everything not mandatory.

With gear and currency from 1st character it is way faster than first run. And I usually make 3-5 characters per league.

But maybe something like mini campaign could work. Like several short interludes after first character.

That's what I'm talking about, a shorter campaign...

Anything... yes, some items work...

Anyway, nothing good drops during campaign, it breaks the objetctive of the game (finding gear/currencies) since nothing very good drops during campaign...

It feels bad man...

And EVEN with items... its quite a lot of time. Whats your record? I still take AT LEAST 5 hours.

But yes, I dont have high hopes.

It never happened in POE 1, and they already said it wont be comming in POE 2.

But I will still be asking because it makes me suffer a little bit.

WHAT IF we had and NPC at hideout that you could sacrifice some currencies (a few DIVS) to train a new character? Something like that. I wouldnt mind.

nope and no my friend, it will not come, 5 to 6 hours is an okay investment and does breack the monotony for people like you i guess. And everyone taking longer still needs to practice :P

I don't think a skip or shorter campaign is the way.

GGG should definitely look at much stronger leveling uniques. Do some ridiculous shit that you can use from level 1.

That would incentivize running the campaign over and over again with every league.

In 0.5 we'll now have multiple campaigns in endgame too.

I don't mind doing the campaign as many times as needed I'd just like a way to avoid acts 2 and 3 like going through acts 1 and 4 twice or something like that.

I don't like the story or characters in PoE2 anyway.

No matter the arguments I will never understand why you would want an option to not play the game you are playing.

This! Skipping playing the campaign is skipping playing the game. I 100% agree.
