6 months of waiting for no new classes, weapons, or skills?

New as in instead of replacing the infinite atlas most people didn't like the stacked 8 layers of band-aids and extra menus on top of it. They added more needless complexity and crafting items and runes when most of the existing ones are already trash. We already had 3 resistance runes for each element with a whopping 2% difference from one tier to the other. We don't need 160 more dogshit runes that we can use to make OoT and OoA. That's effectively like adding in scroll fragments.

It's actively working to make more time sink layers of bs, the bulk of which people will stop caring about in short order if they ever bother interacting with, and at the same time making ground loot even more worthless because there are new bases you can only get from playing the "crafting" slot machine.

It's become less an ARPG where you kill enemies and find awesome loot and more a hybrid slot machine crafting sim where you stand around clicking hoping to win big and buy/earn power ups to shift the slot machine odds toward whatever direction you hope for.
there are 25 new skills. I have no investment in melee and could care less about swords, but I get why some people are into them.

If they only did one new league mechanic with no new class it would be suss but I don't know how you can expect a new class ontop of basically 5 new leagues.
It's not 5 new leagues. It's adding permanent fluff to the Atlas that will hit both the new league and Standard, and a league mechanic.

I never said 100% everything in this patch is useless fluff. Of course they should release the ascendencies for released classes that they failed to release along with the class. They should also release the many missing classes and other dozen plus ascendencies.

My problem is that when .4 was released they said the end game rework was already almost complete. 6 months later there's not a lot to show on top of the end game rework, which turned out not to be a real rework in the first place. It's just taking the system that so many people don't like and adding more fluff on top of it. And it's continuing to just take things from POE1 and copy them over into what was supposed to be a new game that played differently and ground drop rates had value. Instead we get a copy of POE1 where all of the enemies move at that speed and we're stuck with two sprained ankles and a bum knee, and with every patch ground loot becomes even more worthless.

yeah it seems like even with a sword you just don't like the game haha
