The game is less fun than in used to be

Yeah Im sure team casual or league players love the game for all the QOL updates, but this game is nowhere near as fun as it used to be.

I don't know who needs to hear it, or who can do something about it, but the direction of the game is bad now.

Every single mechanic for farming is bad except whatever is about to be nerfed.

Hope team casual is happy because as a long-time standard player you've killed any reason to play let alone farm.

Its not game, its You. You are tired. You need a break from PoE. Go play something else. I recommend Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Fun game.

I recommend single player rpgs as Prey, Arx Fatalis, Gothic , Gothic 2.

long term Standard player?
Of course its less fun after all these years of playing STANDARD

You have so many options, yet you choose with what you're comfortable with...
Try HC trade, or even HCSSF and see what will happen, maybe you will resurrect the enjoyment.

That was a panacea for many players who played SC trade and tried the forbidden apple, now they are never going back lol

The game is easier than it used to be but, whatever, if you enjoy PoE 1 better play now because with every release of both games it's clear 1 and 2 are going to be merged

It's definitely the game. Hadn't played in years and then created a character on a new account with no items and blew straight through the end of Act 5 solo with no deaths. Without any challenge it feels completely pointless.
