Heres to hoping GGG doesn't launch its next league within a week or so of D4's expansion. As we approach D4 expansion Im getting the feeling GGG will try to do this (again). There are video game enjoyers that would like to play both and not feel pressured to play one or the other. They did this with last epoch once or twice and even POE-vet streamers voiced their opinion on this. Its not a good look, whether they think its an intelligent business strategy or not.
I would like to play both, but I for one plan on giving D4 expansion its time on the sun this time around even if POE2 league launches near it. First, no one should care about that. Business is a business and juggling 100 arpgs is unemployed behaviour.
Second, there is so much YOU while you forgot about US. Not many cares other ARPGs outside of POE and ppl will not tolerate that next major update being postponed because GGG should respect Blizzard for some reason. That's just stupid. Play what you wanna play. Its not like those games are going away from you. Alright so, GGG said the announcement is coming end of april. This is all just my random guesses but I think it's fair to assume that 0.5 is coming on may. First friday of may is may 1, the second is may 8
Don't get me wrong I'm hyped too for D4, especially the skills rework, but that's more than enough time to do anything on D4 and get bored of it unless that other company managed to surpass my expectations instead of letting them down for the first time in 10+ years Maybe I will manage to squeeze more time because of the skills rework and testing stuff, but yea Last edited by iHiems#0168 on Apr 17, 2026, 12:11:17 PM

Release the content on schedule. I play both games and would prefer to play POE2 sooner than later. There will be ample time for both games and D4 isn’t going anywhere soon.
