What killed me?

So the center of it is, you had 1K health remaining, what got you killed was Hubris, when you dodged back early on, your shield started to recharge, but then you aggressively rolled forward, back into the kill zone and took a hit, stopping the recharge, leaving you at 1K health, which isn't nearly enough for an ES build to take risks with. Had you waited the 1 to 1.5 seconds to get your 4K back, you would have shrugged the hit off.
What did the deed however was those blue bolds form the sky. Those are Expeidition crossbowmen, who fire volleys into the air, which then land in a line in front of them, which deal pretty high damage (particularly if they crit), and the indirect nature makes dodging them in a chaotic fight pretty hard. A side note (and something I'd absolutely require in the event of a thread like this being all over), reclaim that screen realestate, hide your loot except during a keypress, hide your quests, you'll increase your visbility SO much by doing so, making both easier to actually dodge stuff during these moments of chaos, and make any post op a lot easier. Game has more than enough visual noise as it is. |

What killed you was ground explosion created by expedition risen mage - they do shitton of damage via this. Because most of the time you're covered by corner you couldn't see it clearly.

once upon a time (yesterday) at HC SSF I died. I knew the reason and It was my own fault. Which I prefer, because at least I have someone to blame, my self 😄😄😄

Probably not important as you were taking multiple hits and already in danger, but right before final hit you get cursed with flammability. so fire resist dropped from ~75% to 45%. (just assuming 75% baseline)
Went from taking only 25% of the fire damage to 55%, a 120% increase. Since the change to grim feast / removal of shock siphon I've had trouble recovering ES in those situations. Found ghost dance can be a huge help but scales off evasion. "Beidat honored the pact, though Beardat wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
