We could also maybe get a clue in game in a future update???

0:14, blue spear thingys raining from the sky. You progressively lost all of your energy shield over the 14 seconds up until that point and only had like 1k health remaining when the blue spears hit you

"Blue spears" = lightning bolts

I have a feeling it was the yellow circle thing I was standing in..
It appeared real quick, but I probably should have dodged out of it..
But I'm still on the fence on how I suddenly lost that much health in one hit.

Yes, that's normal when I get in close combat with a mob. It's that big hit that confuses me.. Where did it come from and could I have avoided it?

Watching this again and maybe you're right about the blue spears..
They do come down just as I loose a huge amount of health.
So where do they come from?
If I was good at this game I would have known that and taken out the source immediately..

Could be a lot honestly not just the stuff from the sky. If you wanted to make a topic like this there needs to be a lot of requirements before posting.

Mods on the map, mods in expedition, your entire build.


You had 0 ES when you were hit and you have 1360 life.


Any number of things can kill something like that.

It looks like you got beat down and then took a large amount of fire damage from the coloured ring on the ground exploding because you have the ignited debuff after taking damage from it as it kills you, but like Mashgesture said, it could have been a combination of things and damage types because we don't know any of the mods on the map/expedition or how your build's defenses are set up.

Expedition mobs hit hard under normal circumstances but with the wrong mods they are pretty deadly and I've lost a few HC characters learning this the hard way. Gotta respect modifiers lol.
