A few weeks out isn't so bad. They released this league over a holiday period so will have lost a lot of work hours due to it. End of year always gets a bit slow, it's holiday time and people wind down. And given their release cadence being so snappy otherwise they deserve a bit of chill downtime.

Do something else for a month, time flies when you're busy. Plenty other games to play till patch day :D
