Let’s Have Professions!

I wouldnt blame yourself for feeling that way. I love crafting in poe1, wasting all my currency buying crafting mats to make my own stuff for 10x the price of the final product is my jam. It's got so many different ways to influence outcomes, mitigate bad rng and add special stuff like implicits/influences/elevated mods.

Where as in PoE2 I feel like I still have mental fatigue from trying to craft a quarterstaff in 0.2

PoE2 crafting is in its infancy and we dont have many tools to tilt the scales in our favour(im not a fan of the omen system). The lack of scouring also limits experimenting/learning. In PoE1 if a craft is bricked you can most often scour it and get right back to tinkering. In poe2 its "right back to gathering bases, will maybe try crafting again tomorrow"

Ah i didint know that i didint play poe 1. sounds more foregiving. but in overall, crafting system at poe 2 is really difficult to understand what we have and what we use and when we use. evertying is quite ... chaotic :D

Yes let's just make it into mmorpg.
Alienate the arpg players while you're at it.

Thank u sir! That’s the point really. if you feel like expanding on it, iam curuious where you think it crosses into MMORPG territory.

Frankly
I'd just stop playing completely and not look back.
At first glance it sounded like a bad idea, but it might actually be kind of cool depending on how it's implemented.

Could be where you only can have one selected at a time and it causes certain enemies or biomes to contain new items you can gather and exchange for things, like a scavenger/bounty hunt. Sort of like divination cards from PoE1 in practice.

Each profession could be focused around a few item types, so it allows target farm better

This is where I'm at, professions feel so out of tune with what this game is (and generally wants to be) as to be poison to any notion of fun. Even crafting is on that line, but at least serves a purpose.

This is adding busy work for nothing.

Yes ! lets have professions, like we have at MMO's but simplified or adjusted or whatever.

like adjusting modifiers , crafting a uniqe item maybe?

i.e. if u are tailor u can craft only certain base items etc.

i.e if u are a rune carver u can adjust something on rune, whatever...

ideas may be billions.

maybe there will be 10 difrent profs. but every character may have mostly 1 or 2?

just an idea for more time consume into game :D

also GGG, hey! u can sell proffesion stash tab :ppp

We already have a profession system in game its called gambling
I'll take a little republican corruption for a little republican freedom!
