.dll and 0xc0000005 crashing the game
|
I had this as well for 3 days and was close to quitting. My solution was to disable some AI Tweak settings in BIOS.

Not much to add, others have covered the errors and workaround attempted.
Just posting to add a +1 that this is causing issues for me also. None of the workarounds attempted have resolved this for me. Frustrating bug and enough to make me reluctant to buy another pack until it's fixed. I hope this is being prioritised. |

Most likely, unstable automatic overclocking/undervolting

Hey folks, wanted to give some further advice because my problems began expanding outside of the game, so want to give GGG a fair apology and tell you guys what I've done to try and restore some stability.
Mindeclipse is correct for my case - I downloaded CPU-Z and found my RAM was severely underclocked. Went into my BIOS and changed the XMP OC profile from "Disabled" to "Profile 1" (if you have a Z790 motherboard, otherwise I'd recommend looking up for your own particular). This stabilized the game more and I went from crashing once every 15-20 minutes to crashing once every hour (we'll take these improvements). However, I was still BSODing occasionally, streaming sports and just general "low usage" overall, even coming home from work or waking up in the morning to my computer BSODing. I looked further and I recall reading my CPU, i9-14900k, having a LOT of stability issues. I read a very helpful article (won't post a link just in case there's any anti-spam filtering in effect, but just Google search "i9-14900k BSOD" and the second post in the Intel Community forums had another solution for me: 2. Solution B: 1. In BIOS, select "OC", select "DigitALL Power", modify "CPU Loadline Calibration Control" and recommend starting from "Mode 7" at a lower value until the system is stable. I made that above change and since then I haven't had a single issue. Time will tell, but I hope this manages to help someone because having a vastly unstable computer with everything potentially being the problem is more stressful than it should be! Good luck to all again! Last edited by Aquilaungula#1133 on Apr 13, 2026, 10:54:38 AM

" The game uses RAD Game Tools. So the link won't look suspicious. https://www.radgametools.com/oodleintelold.htm Unfortunately, the TS has a different processor, but the issues may be similar. Last edited by Mindeclipse#1593 on Apr 13, 2026, 11:13:20 AM

Appreciate that link very much!
Yeah, wow. I don't mind instability but physical, irreversible damage being done due to "ship now, fix later" mentalities, typical of the times... I did update my drivers / BIOS incidentally from prior troubleshooting, so hopefully that hasn't happened for me yet. I will say that since adjusting the settings in my BIOS, the stability has improved substantially (it did hurt me to type that out, kinda "obvious"...). Regardless, just trying to help everyone else who is doing that frantic Google search of "error message means what?" since there's no helpful material out there. |

FIX your game GGG |

Try restoring the BIOS to its default settings. The issue may be related to PC instability.
Settings like XMP, EXPO, PBO, etc can affect system stability. |
