Probably nothing changed. You're just having a hiatus before you crash again.
I just went like, a day, with no crashes. Last night and today, crashes are back.
edit: this is especially frustrating when trying to farm something in Sanctum on SSF. Crashing in sanctum kinda brick the run.

I've fixed crashing with removing poe completely and installing it again. Check the first post for details.

Five days and still 0 crashes. I'm hoping I'm still good. I hope that this new patch helps you with yours too if you're still having issues

I was ok for like a day and half. Still getting crashes again on the new patch. I don't know why I keep torturing myself..

Just adding my voice to the thread - I also play on Linux and the game has been crashing like crazy. I sometimes get a few hours in, then other times it crashes every few minutes.

Unfortunately, it's not a true fix. I tried it and was able to play for about an hour before getting crashes again.

Check the link for more details, but basically the game has issues rendering certain characters (we don't know all of them, but "e๋" is definitely one of them) and will crash when attempting to do so. Try pasting that specific character into chat and you will instantly crash. Some people enjoy using unconventional characters for their character names, so every time they send a message, you crash.
My suggestion is find a random empty global channel and you probably won't crash anymore. Turning global chat off is not enough.
