Complaining about performance and not posting hardware specs isn't helping.

LMAO why? so you get people telling others "just upgrade br0000000" "just spend 2-5k usd br0000000000" "oh it's a PoTaTOh pc no wonder"

Every single thread where the performance is mentioned it's the same names defending the bad performance and it's not just the same names having issues with it either check both support and tech forums with different type of pcs

It's absolute pointless to say that you're having performance issues in this forums

They doesnt have support on tech so you're exposed to the usual ragebaiters and the same names telling you the same things over and over rather than actually being helpful in any meaningful way other than "just upgrade bro" "it's just 2k usd bro"

Makes no sense in the grand scheme of things to say that there's performance issues.. it's been like that since the patch after crucible ended but it's the same people defending jank.

I could run Heist with a Phenom II X4 processor from 2009. I couldn't run Breach by comparison and this old processor seems to match some of these performance complaints. I also tried the new Legion scarab that spreads currency to mobs and it would choke that system down into 0.1 fps slideshow territory where the game lags and then I'm dead. Contrast that to my Ryzen 5 5500 (which is a modest CPU) and that doesn't happen.

Load times on a regular SSD are quite different when played over SATA 2 vs SATA 3. NVME players are doing even better. OP might get a hardware upgrade recomendation because what if you found out he's still playing Path on a 7200rpm HDD? This would be a valid point to make considering his town loads would be glacially slow.

Also there's a regex tweak people should consider if they use AMD cards to unlimit the shader cache + run packcheck in their Path folder.

Evidently, if it's a ten year old machine running entry level hardware - well yes, I would suggest upgrading. The game improves and becomes more demanding as time goes on, your hardware stays the same or even degrades.

The game running good on your machine now doesn't mean it will in 5 years from now. This is true for every live service game and not a hard concept to grasp.

If there's a good criticism, it would be for GGG to update their system spec recommendations on Steam. They're still saying a 650ti is bare minimum. it's not imo & I used to own the Boost version. Maybe it's okay if the minimum is Hillock farming for Oni?
