Aweful gaming experience

This game makes you waste so much time going to vendors, the well, id items, etc. Half the game play is doing things that should be automatically done... like in other games. I love that there is so much on the screen you can't see anything. The CPU usage and crashing are also a plus. The last but not leaset favorite part is the lag. That is great. The best part is once you reach the end game, each time you die you lose 10% xp. This game, even after stealing all kinds of ideas from Diablo series and Grim Dawn, is a fail. Uninstalled.

" Going to vendors should be done automatically? Placing your well next to your portals is too much trouble? At least you've realised this game ain't for you. |

The mess that is "combat" is no doubt terrible since it tries to be PoE1.
I have around 700 hours in the game and not once did I die because of lag -- stupid things like the on-screen clutter and the inability to see anything, sure, but not lag. The game should pause for you when you disconnect. I also tend to press escape as soon as I notice a lag spike, maybe that helps. Endgame just ID high tier items and forget the rest. Currently there's not much point in IDing anything else. Just pick up the bases and "craft" them yourself (i.e. throw currency at it and cross your fingers). Customise your filter to highlight relevant bases. I like the well. Satisfying to use and aesthetically pleasing. What's wrong with vendors? |

I agree that there can be too much on screen at a time,
the more players in an area the more confusing things can get. fair point. but I kind of like the very regular attempts we must make to improve our gear. especially during campaign. the fact that we cant scout and reroll a good base is a different style of gaming. if you want a specific thing set your filter for that thing. collect a bunch of it, for example a chaos resist ring. roll it over and over save the failed results. 3:1 them keep going. |

" What's the furthest you progressed so far? I really don't like Diablo 2, I grew up playing better games like Starcraft Broodwar when I was 6 years old, and have no regrets. I tried D2R and saw a lot of similarity to POE2, but I still think POE2 is leaps and bounds ahead. I think GGG shouldn't idolize and try to be like D2 because it could be better. There are some things that could be combined and streamlined for identification, scrapping, disenchanting, etc. But it's not that big of a deal right now, it only takes a few seconds longer. Once you have a hideout you can customize your own locations for NPCs, Wells and stuff. There are a lot of NPCs though, I really don't like those 2 stupid blood twins in the end of the interlude. I hope they add a cage hideout item so i can just lock them inside like prisoners. I think GGG is struggling with DDoS attacks, so it might not be their fault. My internet is trash though so I lag in most games. Especially when someone walks past my wifi camera. There might also be an issue with texture compiling or temporary files. idk |

" Still punishing yourself with this Souls ARPG? It is an amazing social phenomenon that people can tolerate this poorly designed game for so long. |
|
" The most amazing social phenomenon is, when players, who hate a game and don't play it at all, try to convince others, that the game isn't worth to play. Maybe it's more a psychological or even psychiatric issue... |

I have over 100 hours in the game. I did play it. The lag causes small delays that pause and get me killed. Some of the skills get me stuck in weird places so I can't move and I die. When I die, I don't even know what killed me(lightning, poison, etc. no way of telling so I can improve).
The disconnections are frequent, the game crashes at least twice an hour. I have a very nice gaming PC and this only happens with POE2. The screen clutter just can't be avoided and all the digital vomit is really unnecessary. I love the fact that I lose 10% xp when I die. This is my favorite thing. The character stash is way too small, so returning to town becomes frequent. I can go on and on. This is ridiculous. |

" You're not even playing since 0.2. You can't really join the discussion. |
|
" Opposite... I really enjoy seeing how people overcome the poor development of PoE2. Meanwhile, I enjoy the Diablo masterpiece. |
