AI char bot that can teach me how to play poe better

I try both chatsgpt and Gemini. They both are helpful but also make lots of mistakes. Which chat bot is considered superior in coaching a beginner through his poe journey from character selection, act 1, all the way to endgame.

I doubt there's a consensus on something like that - least of all for the latest version of each model specifically. 😊

Your best bet might be using a custom prompt (e.g. the instructions for a project in ChatGPT) that explicitly points them to an existing, well-regarded guide and asks them to refer to it before answering questions. That way you get the real-time back and forth of a chat bot, without being dependent on its knowledge of the game.

If you do go that far, there'd be nothing stopping you from even taking things a step further.

The only way to get even close to accurate by a bot is if only a bot or many bots create hundreds of thousands of accounts and start playing/experimenting the game for years to collect data and then input something like a definition of "winning" or "best build" or "best for that approach", or things like that. Exactly what happened with chess and other games. I dont see it happening but it would be very interesting what machines can come up with.
I like standard.

programmers feed shit to ai. And programmed to make up story.

So that you never got correct result from ai.

Even hand written wiki has a lot of incomplete gap in info. To be good in this game is practice and read more sources.

Ai is not that smart enough to really understand which is correct and incorrect, and unable to really play the game themselves yet.

The problem with this game and AI is that PoE undergoes an overhaul every 3-4 months, sometimes completely rewriting old rules. So when the chatbot pulls stuff out of the internet it might integrate a source from 3.15 or something.

Chess works well for AI because chess has never had a patch. If the rules of chess were changed every 3 months you can bet there would be a lot of garbage output from the AI taking out of date sources.

ai was feeded by shit articles by rmt sites, or the infamous wiki hijacker, or the troll reply from reddit.

It is not about outdated.

Last time i saw they suggest people craft metamod, and then use fossil, and then essence to craft, which fossil ignore metamod, and essence behave like chaos.

It just ai are good as generating creative article, but do not use it in real math thesis or something like that

Thats a problem to is that it uses bad data or makes stuff up.

I remember one thread where a guy thought he had successfully made chatgpt into a one stop shop crafting steps guide. In the example he posted the chatbot said to use harvest reforge mana which doesnt even exist.

The greatest and longest living AI bot is your brain. Try it. It's amazing.

the next gen will be fun.

This gen already treat wikipedia as the most authoritative source (so did POE wiki for POE player), so that they always said wiki say this so it must be true, and the in-game actual behavior is wrong
