and yes i dont like atziri temple at poe 2 too, i agree to remove it compeletly or balance it to not main goal of game GGG.
1 is fun ..

Every time you see alva just hop in 60 second freak out kill session to clear a priest to alter the temple and open a passage to a new area ...

Do It well and get some good stuff , build an interesting temple clear it , it wipes , start again ...

1 minute to interact .
fun to build..
minimal investment to mourn if you screw it up .
based around the games strengths ... kill monsters ... juice maps.

When ready , do your temple ...

Its not printing money ..
Its not wasting your time..
Its FUN... one of my favorite mini games.

PoE 2 its kinda lame if you ask me.
Too much investment for what ... but that goes back to my view of PoE2
Its devolving into well something else thats for sure.

B Waste 40 minutes watching a pixel ring spin.

So it sounds like the problem isn’t the idea itself but GGG’s approach, trying to reinvent it for PoE 2. and ending up with something slower and less engaging than what already worked in PoE 1.

the idea of 'slower game is more... fun?' yes it could be but its not that simple. yes, slower and meaningfull fights might be more fun but slower, terrible design, complicated and painfull grind that leads to main goal of game that kills all other end game mechanics , is not fun.
Its repetitive.
Its a hamster wheel.

Peeps on here complaining its only dropping 2.32 pellets per 100 pushes.
It should be 2.43!!!

Im saying i hate pushing bar.
I have stopped playing POE2 because of this. It makes absolutely no sense to me how after last patch the drop rate of the Juatalotli medallion went down.
I had a long run of no medallion dropping and lost part of the second snake. I had to stop because i dont want to lose the whole temple.
Why don't GGG increase drop rates at the end of a season? What is it going to do? If anything people would have fun towards the end of a season and casuals get to accomplish what the hard cores do in a few days.
Not playing anymore POE2 until next patch.
