Failed to load Itemfilter

Anyone have any other solutions to this? I uninstalled one drive because I don't want microsoft using my art/data for their AI training ... but I've tried everything I can to fix this, did all of the steps in the most recent post here, also done stuff posted in other threads... but nothing fixes it. My registery is set up right, i've uninstalled and deleted every poe file ... still creates a new '(XX)\My Games\Path of Exile' folder every time I open the game ... no filter will load, this game his unplayable without a filter...

Try using Revo uninstaller and completely remove Poe 1 from your system. Be sure to include registry by doing a regular scan for leftovers. Poe gets installed in a few directories and I have a hunch there are leftovers.
Typically it's under the steam directory if you use that, also in C:/Program Files, or C:/Program Files (x86), also in C:/Users/User/App data/ Local or Local Roaming hidden directories, Documents folder, etc. Revo uninstaller should take care of all traces. After that reboot PC and start with a fresh Poe 1 install and go from there. |

This didn't work either ... I've tried so many things. My last resort is reinstalling windows, but I really don't want to :(

Ok, try this. Enable hidden and system folders in folder options of explorer.
When you go to load filter in-game, don't click My Documents to point it, instead go to C:/Users/Your user/OneDrive/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile and point to that manually. That should be your true path even after uninstalling One Drive. Another step you can take is to restore My Documents or Desktop paths Steps to Restore Local Desktop Path Open File Explorer and go to your user profile: C:\Users\YourUsername or C:\Users\YourUsername\OneDrive\. Right-click the Desktop folder and select Properties. Go to the Location tab and click Restore Default. Click Apply, then select Yes to move your files back. Do the same for My Documents after. |

Creating "C:/Users/Your user/OneDrive/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile" just fixed the problem ... not 'quite' right, technically but whatever it's there :P
