I hope you guys actually work on adding proper damage and defense stats on the character stat screen. I shouldn't have to go to a 3rd party app and learn how to use it just to see my proper damage and be able to tell how big a hit I can take on my character. That info should be accessible in game.
I would like to see more skill diversity, I dont want the same skill just a different element. I want actual different skill mechanics that actually work well with other skills that are in the class. Crafting needs way more to be viable srry if you dony agree but crafting sucks in poe 2. Most only affect prefix or suffix for most gear and its almost impossible to target the other when crafting. If you want it to remain a slot machine the currencey drops need to be way more common so ppl will want to craft rather then just sell the crafting materials. Gemling finally needs some love for its ascendancy and rapid shot still needs fixed. Would be nice to actually have a minion ascendancy in the game that actually focuses and its main buffs are for minions. Srry but the jinns ain't it. Cool it gives unique summons that's about it. Good points,
I think the character stats tab does show abt how big of a hit you can take. It says like “3k” “8k” With % of armour applying to elemental damage, also with ailment threshold, I though it was kind of strange how my Warrior can sustain almost triple the amount of elemental damage vs physical damage. I hope they nerf the **** out of a bunch of stuff & the unique items x)
People will always gravitate towards the most broken builds, or towards more damage. Even at a low level pairing flame wall with spark is incentivized and while it visually looks like build diversity, its so incentivized that its the only logical option. With auto cast comet, its obviously overused because its so strong. Why does it do so much damage but is also AOE, wouldn't it be more balanced if something that did major damage was single target? RIP to build diversity if there are only a few stand out skills. I barely see lightning conduit used, probably because the animation is so slow and the skill sucks, even with auto cast it sucks compared to comet. I don't really like elemental infusions benefiting other elemental skills, because now going pure lightning is weaker, if you are not exploiting the other infusion combinations. a hybrid sorcress build will always be better. A lot of POE players don't care about novelty or thematics, on the other hand a lot of people do. Most "good" POE players I don't think they care if the skill looked like they just vomited on their screen, as long as it gave them power creep. I'll keep beating this dead horse...I hope for 0.5 they untether bleed, ignite and ailments in general from hit damage. All they are in their current form are skills that scale massively from hit damage, in particular crit hit chance/crit damage that do less and slower damage than plain vanilla instant crit hit damage builds.
This would lead to sorely needed build and equipment diversity. |

" It actually wouldn't because why would you temple when you can map? Temple requires huge time investment and the payoff comes later. Sure it should be nerfed but not to be on par with mapping, it needs to be slightly better and more rewarding for the time sink. |

But current 50 raw div per person per tenple run is ridiculous, amount of inc effectivness and its difficulty in max buffed form makes only suck on CoC'ks build avaliable to run it. " It's not necessarily that the temple gave too much currency, it's that the other mechanics give almost nothing. Even when mapping I'd have to keep changing tablets based on citadels, unique maps, rituals, abyss, etc. Wanna buy a tablet that is worth your while, incredibly expensive. The economy will never be fine or stable as long as every single thing is gambling in disguise. Just take a look at crafting high tier items. spam annuls + augumentation, maybe it hits, maybe it doesn't. Fracture, maybe you hit, maybe you don't. Spam Chaos, spam chaos, spam chaos. Whittlings, dextral / sinistral annulments incredibly expensive in every league. Hinekora? Absurd. Abyss affix? A slot machine. Pull the lever to see three affixes with an omen that lets you pull the lever again. If you hit your affix first try, congrats. It may take me another 10 - 20 omens of light. I may make a 6T1 item with a budget of 5 mirrors. You may get the same item with a budget of 8 mirrors. This is absurd. I stopped playing for like 2 months when I realised how stupid it was to chaos spam an amulet for +3 proj skills with a fractured 50 to spirit. Wanna use an automation tool that does the spamming for you? You may get banned. |
