"Game server lost contact with the realm" since 0.4.0g maintenance

Ever since the 0.4.0g maintenance happened I get frequent disconnects, when idling on the character selection screen I get the message "Game server lost contact witht the realm" message I am booted back to the login.
While playing maps I get booted due to lost connections, after the game starts to spazz out (lagging and rubberbanding) for a few seconds, then no interactions possible until you get disconnected.
Just now I got disconnected while trying to activate a waystone. Same message.

Just to add I am in the EU region.

why we all are disconecting ?

This issue is also present on Paris server

i had some dc´s on amsterdam server

It's not a simple disconnect. I was about to exit cleared and completed map, got dc'd and lost all progress, gold included.

it gets even better now, was just kicked again now all categories have been borked. Only Standard and Fate of the Vaal SSF remains, gone are Standard SSF, Fate of the Vaal. Butm nearly all my characters show up in both groups...I think I lost the one that was in Standard SSF
After restarting the game, everything seems back to normal

I am trying to respec a character for the 3rd time now, every time I get disconnected the last 5-10 minutes of work are rolled back

I have the same problem… Building the large temple and losing valuable locks now… It’s an understatement to say that I’m frustrated.. Now I will lose time consuming progress.
Guess they won’t add back the locks on my mage :/

I’ll stop till they fix this stuff

Don't even try to come to brasil server this is the jungle that took countless lifes and it's reaping our souls from the inside

Lost 2 fracturing orbs just now cause of this, had frequent disconnects since yesterday it also screwed my temple

Samne problem here, since the latest patch installed last night.
I can almost complete one map, then:
"Disconnected, Game servers lost conntact with the realm."

Tried multiple servers in EU, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Frankfurt - same issue.

Never had this problem before so its must be related to the new patch or the new Poe1 season
