Companion Auras has a lot of issues and weaknesses.

I think the problem with Auras lies to the fact that are benefited only by staying in Auras range which is wrong becouse Presence radius is even bigger and can cover more radius to eventually reach the more far distance Auras. So why not change mechanism and help Chars gaining at least by presence and not by auras radius the bonus provided.

Absolutely. When I dabbled with Tame Beast, I quickly realized my companion’s aura was incredibly short, and most of the time I don’t benefit from it because the beast would do its own thing. there’s a lot of work to do on that skill gem.

+1 Agree. When Presence radius touches Companion's Aura radius the bonus effect should be applied normally. Presence radius is implemented for this reason otherwise what's the purpose of having it?

+1. Presence is bigger and more strong element than Aura radius and should be bypassing weaknesses of Aura providings. Too many radius couse conflict and confusion to gameplay.
Bump. Companion Auras are very weak buffs and small radius makes them totally useless and worthless to invest. Please remove one of the two weaknesses or make them at least cost 30 spirit. 60 spirit of what they provide is unreasonable value.

Indeed. Those 2k physical dps aura is a joke especially with non existent radius...
+1 just a little more Area radius would balance the weakness. Also i would to see more type of Auras in Companion use like:

A. Chaos,Elemental damage Auras
B. Cooldown recovery Auras
C. Damage deflection, retaliation Auras
D. Presence radius increases Auras
E. Skill speed Auras
i just want a very simple ui to control their aggro: stay-by-me. go-get-em.

i don't want to chase my companion down in a fight. or constantly be giving directions.
i want them to be supporting ME.

more companion-specific support gems would be nice, for sure. but a simple ai control would be way more impactful for motivating me to make another Companion build. (minions is so boring to me. turns out i don't care for micro-managing.)
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
