Are bots running wild on instant trade?

At least they fixed the price fixing thing, which was a lot more annoying then bots sniping underpriced items.
Yeah, now they just need to keep sniping automagically till they move the price up. Different methods, same result, same motivation. I encourage GGG to prove me wrong by implementing 1000% anonymous async trade and remove direct player to player and seeing how much the RMT bots drop off.

If they move the price up by buying stuff, then that's the real price, because they expect to sell it at a higher price, right?

It's not same result, now you know what the real price is. Before, you could sell a 20 divines div card/cluster jewel for 1 divine, and think you did a good deal, because first 100 listings were at a lower price.

Easy to fix. Slight nerf to the legit item snipers, but can be undone once GGG actually has detection against the botters.
The most predictable thing that a ton of people predicted actually happened.

Not exactly a shocker. We're solidly in a pick your poison kind of situation. If you're good with asynchronous trading, you have to find a way to be okay with the downsides of it -- especially in a game where accounts are free to spam create.
Thanks for all the fish!
