Temp leagues are the main selling point for this game if you don't find them fun just play standard imo. Standard isn't as fun as temp leagues imo but it's good for players with low amounts of time to play or ppl that want to hunt for gg items and keep them.

It can be tiring which is why your new attitude should be, Standard is home and league is a vacation. Maybe once per year you consider going 36/40 or 40/40 challenges.

I don't see why you can't play standard ssf. If your goals are Boss x on SSF or sth. YOu can even take a peak at the first few days of the new league on youtube or twitch and decide if the league mechanic is maybe that good that you want to pause your personal goals in ssf standard and play a little of the current league even though you might not do every pinnacle boss or every challenge or whatever.

I`ve never truly understood people with the problem of "can`t play only 1 character forever".
Personally i would like to complete my characters, so i would get excited to start a new journey. I think the problem with PoE is, in fact, that it makes you invest too much time into one character, so it is harder to let go and start a new one, which is surprisingly hardest to do in PoE compared to other arpgs, you`d spend months getting one character up there whereas you would usually spend a couple of weeks in other games, especially when it is timegated, i get it. |

Sounds like League games are not for you. No biggie plenty of other types of games out there for ya but most ARPG's have League's (season's) FYI.

I think that this league isnt that great, basically do already existing content for a second time, so playing standard this time might not be the worst decision. But i may be wrong..
