Rotate Dunes out in 3.28

Mostly, people are after the layout, fast boss, and t17 connection combo. Fast boss and predictable layout makes it relatively easy and efficient to find and get rid of the boss to preserve most of your eldritch alters, open layout makes it more likely that none of your mechanics you are farming get clipped by terrain or cut from lack of space, and the t17 connection is usually the most valuable.

Yes....but this is also true of the other maps mentioned. And are generally preferred and have been for a few leagues now. The reason why people ran Dunes isn't the question: everyone in this thread understands layout and all that other stuff.

Dunes was great for things like Breach and Legion....which are not in vogue.


And again.....no one has ever forced the OP to ONLY run dunes, that was always his choice and it is within his control to run any of the 100 other options.
