if i am being honest skipping t1 to t15 instantly if u could even without decent gear was very stupid for me this season, i finished campaign had 50ex used it to buy some random items for my build (druid) went insantly to t15 maps cause i was strong enough, tried and did all tier bosses without upgrading
wtf is this?

make the game challenging if i finish campaign i should struggle in t1/3 for a long long time and need a lot for money to go into t4-7 etc
when i will be able to try bosses i should be super strong already and still lose very easily, make some new bosses at tiers 5 or 10 so there is progression,
there is no challenge anymore and i am not even good at the game

crafting being mostly gamble also isnt something welcome, i want to be able to skip gambling completly if i want to devote hours or grinding instead

and fix 60fps gameplay on 5080, sprint being stopped by pebble and lags
then we gucci

Try SSF then. It's a different story.

Even I can skip to T15 from T1 in one evening in SSF. The difference in enemy HP between those tiers seems insignificant.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.

well there are many sub types of ARPG

you have ARPG like Skyrim,
you have ARPG like Zelda
and you have ARPG like POE/Diablo/Grim Dawn/LE/etc

as for your opinion about power fantasy, that is actually the main reason why people play these games, its to build up their character from scratch and go from beating up enemies with just a basic attack , to blowing up entire hordes of monsters.

if you arent playing this genre for the power fantasy, you are playing the wrong genre.

This game is dark souls like, not dark souls replica.

Yes its meant to be harder than a typical ARPG like diablo , but its still mcuh easier than an actual souls game.

They can't be sub genre of a genre that doesn't exist.

For example Zelda was an Action Adventure game.
Castlevania 1/2/3 were Action Adventure games.
Ninja Gaiden was an Action Platformer turn hack n' Slash later.

Elder Scrolls is more an evolution of Wizardry or Might and Magic. Simply RPGs.

The first real-time combat in an RPG game was Diablo. That is the genre. Diablo was originally a CRPG based in turns. They changed it to run off tick rates and thus a genre was born.

That's it. It's an isometric CRPG, with no turns. It was supposed to bypass the character sheets of CRPGs as well according to Brevick but that didn't exactly stick. It's why in Diablo 1 you simply pick a classes and go. Character progression was intended to be real time. Not PoB.

I played Diablo 1 beta over and over again. There was truly nothing like it at the time.

It's great that we can skip to t15, as most content is gated by t15+;
I'd gladly stay the first week in yellow maps if they dropped any splinters, decent currencies or decent crafting bases, but as it stands, it's all a big stop gap between the semi-meaningful campaign and the semi-meaningful t15 true endgame.
Story.....what story?
This game doesn't have build making. It has "look at the weapon damage % of a skill and ask yourself is it crap or not."

70% of all builds just come down to:

8-16 defensive nodes
4-8 nodes to add a little bit of movement speed
12-20 flat damage nodes
16-24 crit nodes
3-5 jewels
pathing to the above nodes nodes

and a bare handful of actual choice which generally just comes down to fixing mana, buffing leech, fixing accuracy, or some fairly obviously thing like buffing fully broken armor or amping shock.

+1

According to the 2% though?
"HAHA SKILL ISSUE BUILD ISSUE HAHA GET GOOD"

While those same ones are playing the legit 2-3 same builds and have never even tried to attempt another build because they take advantage of legit unbalanced mechanics in this game, ES is busted, it is the only way to survive in the game in its current state, its sad

Complain about any content, endgame content, pinnacle content? your the problem, your the issue, clearly your build and skill issue, not gonna even entertain their BS as they sit in a room full of mirrors all day only looking at themselves, reflecting themselves onto everyone else while disregarding others experiences and thoughts because they differ, they can't grasp other people exist and think differently, so they gas light, 5th grade shit

I will as soon as they add an offline mode. :P Because let's be real here... I could just play a single player game.
