The devs dont want you to play poe 1

GGG will have to remove Dodge Roll before that is even possible. I don't see that happening. ='[.]'=

Path of Exile 2 already feels much like Path of Exile, albeit without the breadth and variety of content that a decade of development has brought to the original, there is no need to remove the movement ability, as all it truly needs is time and more leagues naturally folding into the core game, just as they did in Path of Exile.

poe2 doesn't have swords, claws, axes, flails etc.

The crafting is so horrendously arbitrary to what crafting actually is.

The amount of builds in poe1 is probably 2000 to 1 compared to poe2.

I agree with the part about removing reflect.

And please change "Cannot regenerate life and mana" and "players cannot leech" to MAX OUT at -80% regeneration and -80% less leech. This would take out like 99.9% of cases where a map bricks my builds.

yeah yeah. "players need to look at map mods". I still would enjoy it so much more without these. And it would still occasionally kill my character, which is what they want isn't it?

i think map mods in general are a cool idea but for me they dont rly work the way they want to work and actually theyre just a net negative in a lot of cases. i would remove most of the ones that brick builds.

this is how it appears to me, they want you to check mods and part of that is having these brick mods. but its all just bullshit admin work to do in your hideout, its not actual game play. they want mods to effect your gameplay, thats the idea of them, but they dont so they cling on to these brick mods in part because that forces you to pay attention to a system that wants to matter, but doesnt in any meaningful way.

without brick mods i pay essentially 0 attention to the mods rly. theres 2 types of mods, , a mod i dont give a shit about at all because it has 0 gameplay impact on me and a mod that makes the map impossible to play and hence has 0 gameplay impact because i dont play it. this all = map mods have 0 gameplay impact.

the result of that is map mods only exist as a sort of accounting busywork task i have to perform in my hideout as a tax on my patience and free time in order to just play the game. thats all they are, and it feels like they are clinging on to them being like that because if they took away the brick mods i have to tediously vet then i would pay no attention to the system at all. the system has fundamentally failed to do what it wanted to do and has resorted to being an obnoxious attention seeking troll.

this is for normal maps btw. the new mods on the new super hard aspirational content now have some that actually impact gameplay, and those are cool.
