and https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/SwiftKitten-3681/character/SpinWind is my twister who is currently borrowing my rakiata's flow m form the 5th slot of my Lunar assault because i cant afford 2 of them both chars get 1 shot form max hp by lvl 80+ bosses at boss +4 (i can access arbiter) UNLESS i remove one of my boss points ( go down to +3) my twister also from max hp ES and Ward 9.1k armor and 2.4k i have armor to elemental at 87% and chaos at 42% i have already lowered my damage by like 40% to get zealots oath in a usable spot not its literally not just him its every damn character or build i make i its stupidly easy to get more damage but absurdly hard and expensive to get a mere 10% more effective hp its basically the big slam attacks by the lvl 80 version bosses, bone tyrant bosses (spires of delshar) , the offscreen 1 shot by the feridun prince yet ( 2nd interlude). and some of the citadel boss skills like the ice falling ice beam from geonor ( which i can survive 1 hit of but good luck fucking dodging ALL of them and then of course arbiter when he does the circle plus beam combo where im supposed to stand outside the circle and have perfectly timed dodge roll in.. to avoid the explosion. basically the big slams and its not like its an issue unless i have that 4th boss point in.. but holy shit. its miserable doing bosses with that 4th point.. hp wise its fun and like the VAST majority of the fight is fun but them just having 1 shots.. its like... why the fuck are u doing this.. yes i missed a dodge.. or i took something to the face.. and yeah that should be punishing some some things.. especially the offscreen "out of the blue" shit from the feridun guy.. or the perfect timing dodge required for arbiter when he does the laser inside his own safety circle and this is WITHOUT the + elemental damage map modifiers its just stupid running at boss +4 on the tree the gap between white mobs and bosses is too absurd Last edited by SwiftKitten#3681 on Jan 19, 2026, 8:05:13 PM

Either you have gigachad 60k armour or you don’t have any. There’s the problem of your 9k armour build lol.
Exploit early exploit often bozos.

You can build tanky to the point where only a couple things will actually kill you:
- Monkey boss red slam in juiced maps - Drunken explosion attack from fire flamethrower boss I can't think of anything else. Maybe detonate dead in the Temple because of the mob HP scaling in there. |

Indeed playing ES and having that huge pool of "HP" give you access to how high damage taken is...it's really high, way too high, only ES builds can really survive, the other survival ways are gimmicks.

To be honest, I think this will always be a problem in games where death isn't a significant hurdle. Yeah, you might lose your T16 juiced map or a chance at the boss, and some XP, but if you die once every 100 maps while being able to do maps 33% faster, it's worth it.
I play only on HC and I can tell you, the vast majority of the players do not play glass cannons. The game absolutely forces you to work for specific survivability thresholds and to approach certain kind of content carefully until you are very experienced with it. |
