We need an in-game loot filter system - Filterblade IS AWFUL for poe2
" No, I'm arguing for people to use words correctly. There IS an in game loot filter SYSTEM. The system is there, the EDITOR for it is not. You want the in-game editing SO SAY THAT. Use the correct words, ask for what you want, not what already exists. |

" Wow, I cannot get over how much better this site is than Filterblade, I am never going back. THANK YOU! |

" Yeah it's a considerable amount of work but it's worth it. I do an initial filter with everything showing, then duplicate it for different builds or points in progression then go back into each one and adjust it to that filter purpose. Once your at that point then all you need to do is just update what GGG changes every league which isn't that much work. Cheers mate!! |

The problem with creating a filter yourself, is the next league...
I've actually skipped leagues simply because I didn't not want the hassle of going through and editing/updating my filter. Which is highly customized with unique sound bytes I've added, colors, and settings. Sure you could import the custom filter into one of the filter managing sites, problem is you have a 90% chance all that customization you did will be wiped out, and every single league you have to spend countless hours updating, and customizing again and again. The OTHER big problem with relying on a site like filter blade, you are at the mercy of someone else doing thins correctly, pulling current pricing from wherever they decide to get prices from, and hope that they are correct, and nothing valuable in the filter is hidden, because of human error, or oversight. I can't tell you how many item drops the first month of this druid league, I've had tinks drop, just to look it up and say, "Why the fuck is this 80ex item tinking!?" (It's because the price predicter/sync to the source filter blade uses was not updating...) Perfect example, Filterblade uses poe.ninja for pricing update so you can sync pricing for your various sections of the filter (ie currency, uniques, essence, etc..) then define your price per tier, and finally auto sort items. It's great! EXCEPT,.. When in the case of PoE 2, poe.ninja does not price uniques. Enjoy sorting out the hundreds of uniqes, and their current market price daily. One thing LE had for it was it's in game filter, man that shit was top tier, only down side, manual pricing based on market. If GGG could build an in game "EDITOR" (so we don't upset the OCD) Combined with multiple sites that track market price, and you could chose which you want to sync to,.. (Or better inhouse tracking through the API, skipping all outside sources),... Now THAT would be the day.. |
