0.4.0d Patch Notes

You secretly nerfed the temple to the ground. It's nearly impossible to sustain even 1 chain with lock medallions drop rate. You baited us to spam spymasters in our temple and now i barely get 1 lock per run with 11 spymasters. How is it "High chance for advanced/Juatalotli's medallion"?. More like low chance.
Punishing those who haven't built the temple isn't really the way to fix temple. It just rewards those who already have it finished.
Please remove this secret nerf or I quit this league.

They should care if people stop playing the game. They nerf everything AFTER people already spent hours of building the temple. That's a frustrating gameplay. You expect things to be stable in the game. And currently nothing is.
"Stable" and "beta" dont go well together, especially for brand new content. Do you want them to never tweak things because "people spent hours"?

I'd like to have the game release before 2030, so they can change it every single week for all I care. Think long term, man.

New content is always added to the game every league, its not something special for poe 2. In poe 1 you get new content every league and you never see this variance in mechanics between patches. They introduced a mechanic which requires you to learn it deeply, you then construct the temple and then they secretly changing things making it harder to sustain your old plan.

I wouldn't say anything if they just nerfed effectiveness in temple. or like diminishing returns from effectiveness. But nerfing medallions so hard just rewards those who already built the temple.
But the "medallion nerf" is just an unproven claim by players. There is nothing in the patch notes about it so unless you have zero trust in GGG why do you take this as a fact?

When you run a temple with 11 spymasters and 50 rooms and barely get 1 lock, that's when you know that they totally nerfed medallions drop rate.

dying to map boss should just put you outside the arena. nothing more.
