Anyone else hoping they come out soon and say...

Hey guys I'm [insert name], while the last year was something of an experiment we don't plan to continue putting out half baked content that refuses to function and we are going to focus on [insert Poe game].
Either way it sucks to know when a patch hits, it's just going to suck for 4 months + whatever as some bugs just never get fixed. This isn't not what early access was supposed to be. Anyone remember when ark put out paid DLC while the game was still in EA? How is constant cycles of MTX (new not the old ones moved over as promised) are still a priority in any shape or form? How is the game left ignored for months at a time and called "in development". Looking down the pipe of another long year of drip feed recombinated scraps from POE 1, game breaking bugs, lack of player freedom and creation, duo play being ignored, trade league issues, loot is boring and one dimensional or headhunter. This doesn't feel like it did last year and no one saying anything, even if it was lip service is even more reason to assume this cycle will keep up and the game will launch in a terrible state. I do wonder what people will say when they can't use "early access" as this all important defense against valid criticism though? TLDR : This way of doing things sucks to be a consumer in and I don't feel like spending anything this year to "support" development that is not happening. I already have buyers remorse and feel ripped off for what I already spent. Last bumped on Jan 14, 2026, 4:00:33 PM

For me I want them to focus on the core content in PoE2 and not spend even a minute of time on league mechanics like this. I know people will say that these mechanics will become "core" but I'm talking about adding the missing classes, finishing the campaign, and adding the missing weapons, and making an atlas you don't fall asleep pathing like 400 nodes to find a citadel on.
Where we are now we had a half baked temple that was explained terribly and panic hotfixed like 6 times. It simply can't go into the base game as it is right now. So you spent time that could be spent on the actual main game on this temple, now you have to spend time fixing the temple for it to go core. The better solution would be to just not have made the temple at all and focus on finishing the main content - just my two cents. Last edited by Weaver#3527 on Jan 13, 2026, 11:08:57 AM

Pretty much everything this game was sold as, has turned out to be nothing but lip service, as they piece meal regurgitate a decade old game.

Well mediocre patch notes landed and it looks like they are sticking to their awful idea to pump out two identical unfinished games that run worse than ever.
We can hope still right? |

" Man oh man :D. I had to smile when i read this because it really seems like the result of 'oh well, going ahead and quickly jotting down then what's been in my head (and probably that of many) for a long time now, even though it's more a quick vent cause nothing's gonna change anyway'. And thus, couldn't have said it better myself :) Yes. I do. When it became abundantly clear this plan wouldn't be really beneficial for either game, it basically became a waiting game for us on whether and how fast the ship itself would turn around. And even though, in terms of company time, not so much time has passed yet, let me tell you, i'm tired of waiting. It's that bad Please, for pete's sake, turn this mess into an ACTUAL early access with a modicum of respect for, and some level of communication with, the people paying and testing your product before the very last horse leaves the barn Last edited by keppie#6373 on Jan 14, 2026, 5:42:49 AM

for me im looking for simplify experince better UI less clicks in the game . Less NPCS to interactions specially when you reach endgame.
Another way to level up a character without repeating the campaign. |

I just cannot believe the stark contrast of what we were told this development was going to be, and what it actually is.
And again the user side is awful. It's just about driven my son and I off the game for good. Because we KNOW with no doubts now each patch is a big bug filled mess with zero fun to look for. |

Hey, at least we're all suffering together :P
Anyhow, maybe they'll see the light soon, who knows. Last edited by keppie#6373 on Jan 14, 2026, 8:30:15 AM

Unless you've only bought the $30 initial access key and didn't know what you were getting into, it's impossible to be ripped off in this game.
Buy the packs when you want to use the points or get the mtx. That's it. They are not vouchers that enable you to demand game development changes or updates. Posturing the game as an unplayable bug-fest is pretty hyperbolic too. This is one of the best early-access/beta experiences I've had across many games. A lot of dramatic entitled gamers in these forums. |

" Not very likely my dude. It's all good. Being an upset customer is a crime I suppose. |
