I absolutely agree with how annoying this teleporting is with this belt. Surely this can be done in a better way, if it has to be kept. The game is literally preventing you from going where you want...
- pulling you back right to the place you are trying to escape for instance - or you will jump on a monster which you identify as a priority target, and it will teleport you elsewhere instantly... preferably next to the least dangerous monsters when you really need to deal with the big bad one immediately - teleporting you 4-5-6 times per 10 seconds, and you have literally half a second to reposition your mouse, re-assess your location and the dangers around you, kill everything in an instant and get ready for the next teleport 1 second later Seriously, this is just supremely annoying and I am surprised I haven't died yet because of it. It's been close on occasion... Surely, it can be implemented better. And I will say it plainly, ideally the game should try to understand the player's intent avoid avoid doing the exact opposite. That would be greatly appreciated. |

Not gonna let this topic die. It's been a problem for far too long at this point. Gear doesn't need a drawback, it's gear. We spend a lot of time/money to get vaal gear that has had it's negative affixes removed because everyone recognizes them as worthless otherwise.
Shroudwalk simple needs to be removed/reworked, as even with perfect defenses there's no surviving a 1 shot mechanic that this thing will decide to teleport you into at the last moment making dodging impossible. To not just cry, these would be my ideas for a reworked buff: 1) Keep the teleport, but apply a massive damage reduction making 1 shots literally impossible. Something like a cap on damage received per hit based on % health while within the cloud. 2) Remove the teleport, and just make your character drop a cloud that blinds enemies in it or grants ranged evasion while within it. |

oh you want all superpowers and to have no disadvantages? good luck you meet real life. for those who are complaining - yes when you just get HH it looks very annoying to be teleported in a mobs pack, but it is , as was said above, until you get more defense. other thing is - read how HH works. so you want to remove it FOR HH, but you dont say you dont like mobs teleporting to you, but HH get exactly that mod. about teleporting exactly when you are not ready or weak etc, it's time not just 1 button spam , but for counting how many seconds it takes between teleports, why it is so hard for you to avoid teleporting just by stepping back a little for 2-3 sec? or just simply re-wear HH anyway if you use a thing - first know how exactly it works so you will be ready to everything could happen. and being wanted only pros but not cons... is an infantilism. (is such logic came from movies?) and yes- dive deeper to your build and increase defense. maybe in change of 5-10% of dps. other way - just use nobrain 1 button meta build that most of people uses. (not sure what is the interest of such playing... but everyone is responsible for own way of life) ps. as i personally think most simplifying things in games came from such players behavior ... you want to dominate and dont want to think, react, learn builds etc. by this trend - look how games became gambling shit, not using "reward for effort and learn to be better" model anymore , sure there are still some kind of it, but it will disappear fast with such suggestions Last edited by ungamer321#7175 on Mar 20, 2026, 1:05:04 AM

Considering GGG wants meaningful combat, this teleporting just doesn't fit at all plus it's so obnoxious. Try running away from some enemies and it keeps pulling you back, it's so frustrating and annoying. We should do a petition to remove it altogether, finally. |
