1 button gameplay is better

Tbh right now the game feels like a constant battle between devs who push that clunky combo gameplay and community that tries to find a way around it. We have come a long way since the start from the "vision" but its still here. I dont really get it why devs hate simple combat so much. We have meaningfull campaing and bossing. But all this combo stuff is not for everyone, also if we have minion archetype, why its wrong to have 0 buttons on other builds?

We can have the same right? Who like combos plays combos, who likes 1 button plays 1 button. For me for example fun is oblitarating the entire screen with just walking, it feels smooth and easy, compared to when you have to set up anything. I have a wrist issues and its usually only way i can reliably play.
My favourite build from poe 1 was a wardloop, i think its the best example of fun build, where you have very interesting interactions between items and game mechanics resulting in ultra fast ultra projectile spam that tickles your dopamine without pressing anything.

I wanted to post this becuase i feel this especially strong this league. Wardloop is an example of how complicated BUILD results in an easy GAMEPLAY. And apart from minions i cant really find this fully in poe 2, all builds i saw that are trying to simplify gameplay are already very complicated and the result is always a little clunky, and doing that is very expensive usually. I played infernal legion kripp build and for me it was the best i had so far, its not ultra one shot strong, but very smooth and easy to play.

And you can see, once again people found a loop with temporalis and mana flare, and again, we have a situation where only super rich people can play this way. And the saddest part is that you KNOW its gonna get nuked. Next patch it wont work because fun is not allowed.

I of course understand that mana flare loop is stupid, its just a 2 item interaction, but we dont have anything even remotely like this. I tried to set up autocast with minion death and clerics, but you just cant make that fast enough, they made minion cooldown so long so clerics is the only option, and you cant make the minions die at least like 2 times a second, resulting in once again CLUNKY gameplay.

Ideally the progression curve is from many buttons to 1 button. Nobody wants a freaking world of warcraft rotation for every pack of mobs.

I am perfectly fine with combo skills as long as the payoff is great and they work. Combo skills in the current iteration of the game just don't work for mapping due to how dangerous monsters are, how stuns work ect.

I would be fine with 1-2 button mapping and more complicated for bossing. But even bosses currently are a bit of a mess. Narrow or small arenas, auto tracking guarenteed 1 shots with not enough of a window to perform more than 1-2 skills between attacks if you are lucky or massive aoe skills that cover 1/3 of the arena. Then to top it off we have buggy transition phases where bosses can sit in transition for 15s while they throw out 5 more combo abilities on you.

Currently players are pretty much forced into this gameplay of do as much damage as possible so that we can avoid all the mechanics in the game because mechanics = death.

Yeah, people leave -1 without elaborating but setting up anything right now ruins the flow fo gameplay and is very hard with the damage you recieve. Also a lot of bosses have very high mobility and teleports for some reason, someties its even hard to apply a curse or a full stack of frost bomb not to mention something more complicated.
What is there to elaborate on? I want to combo mobs with 10 buttons and 2 unset rings even when clearing content in endgame. Simple. You might think I'm trolling but I don't like the fact that the "cerebral" part of the game is relegated to making a build rather than the gameplay too.

Did you even read what i said? I mentioned that its good to have both, you like that and i dont, and there is nothing wrong with that. Right now for people like me the window for building is much smaller and harder.
