I have played hundreds of hours of POE1 and POE2, but something has changed with GGG. They don't seem to think through their changes at each patch. For instance, I would like to get the Gain Damage buffs from Freezing Mark or Voltaic Mark. If I use Freezing Mark or Voltaic Mark with Called Shots, the automatic reapplication removes the buff. I have tried to use multiple combinations of the marks, and support gems like Eternal Mark, to try and get at least 10 seconds without losing the buff to the next automatic mark trigger. This means that the Deadeye ascendancy has no use outside of a Sniper's Mark/Critical Strike build. They made these changes to both the ascendancy and the way that voltaic mark/freezing mark work, in a way that negates the benefit of using Called Shots for half of the available marks.

This is just one recent example and they do this kind of careless design across the classes, the passive tree, and the unique items.

After spending enough time trying to make several different builds work this league I realized that I GGG was asleep at the wheel. They are flailing, they are crashing out, and they think they can develop two games at the same time sharing developers between the projects. I am changing my review to "Do not recommend" because GGG have marred my belief that they care about the game. Don't buy this game, don't waste your time.

If you think that, I am very well aware of what kind of person you are and would wish you guys wouldn't be allowed to make any forum posts or say anything.

This game is not supposed to be a D4 copy in which you just shut off your brain and blast. Heck campaign bosses are crap by now cause they are so easy.

Gearing was never that easy before and every corner promotes exploiting mechanics to make more and more currency, while we actively require 10 div for prolly all content.

Which are the builds you are referring to? LA? Still playable and strong, with the new mirage archer ascendancy point prolly even stronger as before, but also more balanced, since you not just skip any mechanic in the game.

They should actually nuke these builds even more if not completely delete Evasion rating from the game and heavily nerf ES further.

They should get rid of people like yours which hinder the game from becoming something new!

Like there are so many streamers and people advocating different builds and SSF viable, you cannot be serious. And only mentioning Deadeye.... the OP ascendancy. Just cause fubgun isn't advocating it anymore cause Pathfinder was buffed into heaven, the ascendancy isn't bad. It is playable and strong and still offers prolly more as most other ascendancy classes you fing.

Dude, you literally played OP classes there, Merc is the breaker still. Grenades are busted and yet you are still here complaining it is not playable or doesn't work out for you... What exactly are you on to make yourself working from such inaccurate assumptions and having such unrealistic expectations?

You can literally one shot nearly any act bosses with nades and near to no investement whatsoever.
