0.4.0c Hotfix 14

REVERSE THE LEVEL 3 LOCK CHANGE WTF ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO BUILD TEMPLE

This is the worst patch I’ve ever seen on a game. You have just wasted 30 hours of my time over the Xmas period trying to set my temple up. I finally got it too a spot where I had 15 rooms down and then this patch gets released.

I don’t care about the loot nerf. I care that you have wasted hours and hours of 90% of your player bases time and have shown with your 2nd hotfix that you don’t give a damn about the fact you have done so.

This could have been fixed by reverting the lock changes. Such a simple fix. But no.

I’ll be leaving a similar review on steam. The decision making process to push this “fix” needs to be seriously reviewed and never be allowed to happen again. The trust has gone.

GGG always claims that "we listen to the community," yet hotfixes consistently pour cold water on players' joy right after they discover new fun mechanics. The adjustments to the Temple gameplay could have been implemented gradually through seasonal optimizations or iterative feedback—yet they chose the coldest, most sudden stealth-nerf approach instead. When developers treat players as mere "data points" to be managed rather than partners in building the world, what collapses is not just the virtual structures in the game, but also the last shred of players' patience with POE2.

Very bad change on the locks, letting the 1% go free while the rest of us who are casually building a temple get penalized.

Terrible.

Someone has to wake Mark asap!
There is no way he approved lock situation.
Why not nerf drops, mobs, rooms but leave ability to enjoy building it? WHY?:D
That was the most fun I had in poe2 ever since 0.1..

Good change.

However one thing remains: removal of currency farmed by the exploiters.

Buff league again - "Oh sorry, have here for limited time this 40% buff, this is what WE PLANNED AT THE BEGINNING"

Nerf league - "Well... you seemed to be having too much fun and our banana servers can't handle. I'm not only going to brick all your chain layouts (which can't be reset by the way, *nice job*.), but ALSO I'm going to make it way harder to build again. HAPPY NEW YEAR!".

Stop this 2 month cycle. You have proved you don't have the man power to handle it. It's better 1 good league, then a sequence of trash POE1 and POE2 leagues (which wouldn't be that trash if it was correctly tested before launch).

Just be better.

Undo the hotfix, this is one of the worst gaming decisions I've ever seen a company do and I've played all of blizzards games

Ban the exploit abusers.

good change, this snake exploit was getting out of hands, no in game mechanic should be astronomical more rewarding then any other content.

Lets enjoy tears of abusers.
