Because Temple has been designed that way since the beginning. A huge time sink without any meaningful progress. Another slot machine on top of the entire casino that this game is. So you need to spend the entire league to figure it out.
It ended up being a boring chore that takes more from you than giving. The mechanic that is not being tested at all.

Please scale the life and uniques and rare for better endgame an rollback de lock is everything you need to do for a good league
