Because of people with genuinely no idea about the implications of nerfs like you, I cannot play the campaign with friends.

I play solo, I nearly 1 stun kill bosses. Added 1-2 friends, it feels like I have no gear and lvl 1 skills. Because people like you keep saying "wah group play bad" when its not even a primary issue here.

Clearly you haven't watched the clips of streamers abusing group play mechanics and rarity stacking, printing currency that you absolutely couldn't do solo.

I do get the main issue: pulling the rug out of casual players who didn't have time to abuse the temple. The issue of not resetting everyone's temples, the issue of not restarting the whole league, the issue of GGG not doing anything for days and days.

Then just get a group of friends with you to play with? You have friends, don't you?

Just because they are streamers doesn't mean what they do is the basic standard or the root cause of everything. Grow up!
Show my time and money some semblance of respect, or I'll spend it elsewhere.
Since we are going to do something different, why not design a new drop mechanism? Just make such small changes, and you'll always be a son in the face of Diablo!
That last "If you are doing that strategy of course!" is really pointed. Fuck you guys. I will vote with my dollar on future supporter pack releases. I am confident your vision to penetrate the market and attract new players and more casual players to this game will absolutely fail because all of your decisions in and around the game continue to prove that you are completely disconnected with this type of player.

Just going to add my two cents here: this change for locking rooms has an insanely disparate impact on players who are just beginning to build their temple strategies compared to players who have established large chain temples already. This change when combined with the sudden nerf in drops from the super-juiced temples is only serving to widen the gap in wealth now that there is less currency being pumped into the market... the ones who already had the wealth are now in an even better position while sudden economic destabilization destroys the more casual players.

I feel like this sort of sweeping change seems to go against the "no mid-league nerfs" policy. The only reason why I started putting effort into beginning a temple strategy was the assurance that you would not nerf it mid-league based on all public statements in the past. Now my efforts have been wasted when I could have been pursuing different aspects of gameplay that would have paid off more than my temple that will now never reach the promised rewards.

I usually just go with the flow with whatever happens in Early Access, because the game is being actively developed and working through how these mechanics function and balancing their rewards is just part of that process... but when your own historical stance has been "no mid-league nerfs" then when this sort of huge impact nerf happens it just feel extra bad.
GGG continues to fail!
When people try to use the same strategies, they are silenced.

The 2 last hotfix made you eligible to work for blizzard....
Give the locks back to the lower lvl rooms and take away the ability to lock lvl 3 rooms. You screwed over the average player doing this. We see you only really care about your streamer clients and not your actual player base.
