I REGRET GIVING YALL ANY MONEY! SPIT IN OUR FACES!

Cool now revert the lock change, otherwise this is over. You don't like snakes? You don't want this to be how temples are used? Fix that in 0.5, the players are enjoying building a temple to get loot, what this games about. Worst decisions ever.. GGG going backwards and D4 moving forward, who would of thought.

This is so on brand for Jonathan and POE2. We made a temple to path to a new boss for you to kill. Wait you’re not doing what we wanted you to, and you found another way to exploit the “rarity affecting currency” bullshit we haven’t addressed? Hotfixes the temple to try to force people to play the way they want them to. 🙄

In games like PoE, the unspoken agreement is:

You invest time → the game respects that investment.

When a patch retroactively deletes the value of 30–60 hours of focused progression, that agreement is gone. At that point it stops being a game of planning and mastery and turns into a slot machine where the developer can invalidate your choices at any moment.

Once that trust is broken, motivation collapses.
You stop planning long-term.
You stop caring about optimization.
You stop believing effort matters.

And PoE without that trust is just not worth anyone's time.

They went from start of league 2/10 to 8/10 with first temple changes, all they had to do was just Loot Nerf and after patch they touched the bottom of the swamp with this changes and went back to 1/10 with league

You can't even farm Atziri right now. since you can't lock Path to her :D so once you kill her you are screwed and you build from scratch

About 20 hours into building my temple. It was really tough to get started but felt great once you did. I was really looking forward to this weekend and trying to progress it to the point where it became rewarding. I would like to say "see you next league", but after this, I don't know if I'll feel like jumping back in.
