ya thats because it was drastically underplayed at the time. now adorned builds are kicking off and they're insane. everyone wants them. they're hard to get. so the price skyrockets

my final ascendancy i got a 127% adorned that is old for 65 div at the time. funded my entire build for awhile, until i got some other jackpot drops and steady currency for other upgrades

Last Friday, I had saved up 100 div to buy The Adorned, but I was exactly 20 div short so I couldn't get it. Then Saturday morning, I logged in and checked—the price had jumped to 550 div.

And the reason I'm trying to buy The Adorned isn't just because some famous streamer is using it. I've been playing Spark builds ever since the early days of the game even last season when everyone was running Deadeye. That's why The Adorned has always been one of my season goals.

And I had hope that I could work hard building Temples to achieve that goal, but now even that hope is gone.

Because the price of The Adorned will keep staying high (or getting even higher) due to all the people who already completed their Temples earlier, and simply running maps won't let me keep up with that price anymore.
That's why I said I don't know what to do now.

your build works fine without it so just keep playing

See, this is the kind of nonsense logic that I hate in arguments.

Well heck, I guess case closed!

It's like people complaining about the price of groceries, and some guy saying "Well rice and potatoes are still really cheap, you don't need other kinds of food, you can live just fine without it."

Okay, but guess what? I. Don't. Want. To. Live. Life. On. Rice. And. Potatoes.

So your logic is nonsense. I don't want to live in a cardboard box either, so I'm going to complain if rent is too expensive, if I'm not covered for healthcare, if traffic is being blocked for a parade, or when a game gets delayed it's launch release for a few days.

Just because the world is full of technicalities, doesn't mean you can dismiss every aspect of life or people's wants. It doesn't matter to you if someone needs an Adorned, or just wants to enjoy the game with one in lieu of not enjoying the game without it. If they can't get it because of how crazy the economy is, then it's a fair complaint, it's a galdang video game that's supposed to be for entertainment and joy.

Most things that would be expensive by now are dirt cheap though since they also drop from the temple along with divines. It's only the non-temple drops that shot up in price. So you benefit from a lot of price drops and have to pay a lot more for a few things.


The only expensive stuff is the following which is usually out of reach of most players:

- BIS rares (always expensive anyway)
- Rare uniques that don't drop in temple

Next time, this kind of people will say you dont need to do maps, you dont need gear upgrades, you dont need to reach endgame. All you need to do is finish campaign and stop playing.
