Vaal temple is now NERFED

Its a short sighted "fix" that didn't give a second thought to any of the players. I can totally understand nerfing the rewards, but to change the core of the playstyle so you just can't build that way anymore is insane. I mean honestly they could have at least wiped everyone's progress and started over at that point and it wouldn't have been this bad. At least then we're all starting at the same point.

" Right, but more people would be mad, they are not in the best spot right now. Any decision will mostly make people angry. Somehow the decision they took is one of the worst possible. And on top of that, a streamer is live right now doing 100 divs per hour doing legacy temple runs, which almost nobody can do because the rules of the game just changed and they are unaffected by it. GGG will have to do something and honestly, I don't know what it is. But this is one of the worst thing they have done since I've known their brand. I was already out of this league early waiting for 0.5, but if they don't make this right for the players who still play this, I will never forget it. |

Net impact of the change on the economy so far:
1) The divine orb has gained value against exalts again, it is back to about 315ex now after dipping as far down as 230 ex this morning. If you have an excess of exalted orbs it is worth quickly converting them to divines, as the divine price will likely go back to 400-450ex before things stabilize. 2) Chaos orb and Annul are up, reflecting that most crafting at this stage of the league is high end and now chaos/annul based (also see point 3). Chaos orbs were 100 to a divine earlier this week and are now up to 65-70 per div. Annuls were 18-20 to a div and are now 8 to a div (despite the div gaining ground on the exalt) 3) High end ritual omens have crashed. Whittling went from 18div per to 6-8 div per. Sinestral erasure and annulment went from 26-28 div to 16. Dextral erasure and annulment went form 20 div to 11. This is likely panic selling with a huge source of future divine orbs having been removed by the nerfs (existing temples are worth half or less raw divines per run than they were before and the prospect of building a snake temple is now much longer and more tedious 4) Perfect Exalt and Chaos Orbs are skyrocketing. The future source of these from the temples is gone, so they are climbing significantly. Perfect exalt has doubled from about 50 ex this morning to 150 ex, and perfect chaos has gone from 80 ex to 330. These are probably worth buying in the short term to store your liquid currency or if you plan to craft in the near future. The thing I'm not sure about is tablets, particularly expedition and ritual tablets. These had grown in value quite a bit, due to the high amount of liquid currency in the economy and the demand for ritual omens and various uniques and lineage supports from olroth. Demand for those outputs is down some, likely mostly due to panic selling, however, many people will likely swap from temple farming to ritual or expedition, driving more value to the inputs to those farms. I am hoping these are the last of these nerfs, because I'm tired of price shocks. No matter where the economy settles, there will be opportunities to farm and make good profit, but the nerfs keep it from reaching a steady state and make it pretty easy to get caught holding goods that will massively drop in value. |

they nerfed it after some exploiters make couple of mirrors. nice GGG to make the worst league in poe 2.

im not angry any more.. I was upset when they first allowed the exploit to go unchecked, and people were so desperate to get in on the exploit they had to come up with crazy excuses about how its not an exploit or whatever.
