0.4.0c Hotfix 13

What idiot approved this ‘hotfix’ ? So disjointed from the reality and state of this game
Might be a big mistake on your part for hurting peoples ability to actually get the temple going, I'm not even sure if i should bother playing now

Just because you were too lazy or dumb to set up a temple, doesn't mean other abused. Bad part is this change is aimed to nuke the casual players and make the game have no end game yet again.
I always praise you GGG, but I simply CANNOT let this go without saying anything.

As MANY of the other players have stated, the game is not my job, I needed like 3 days to reach maps, I was starting to build a temple and you just destroyed my plan. This is not something that will kill the game but it surely just killed the league, you played yourselves and I simply cannot understand this reasoning. Not cool.

Never posted here before but I feel this needs to be said more from people you usually do not hear.

I'm totally fine with nerfing the loot with the diminishing returns but I legit think the change to the locks is a massive misstep.
Building temples actually was a fun but already was pretty hard to sustain and build, this change now makes building extremely hard for no reason.

It is questionable how the building process has now become even more grueling.

You should consider not doing the lock change after all

T3 locking only is a huge F casual move. What the actual heck.

Those with fully built temples are just fine and still print currency.

Those trying to build a temple are now F'd.

Make it make sense.
The change to lock is absolutely horrible. I understand the problem it is trying to solve - the cheese of being able to prevent the sacrifice of a spymaster up the chain to level up a spymaster down the chain. But this fix could have been made by simply not allowing spymaster to level up without actually sacrificing. so locking spymaster after temple would have no effect.

What this change actually does is to prevent anyone who doesn't have a temple built to even build a temple in reasonable time. Please reconsider your code change and implement your fix to address the spymaster problem and not completely ruin the temple creating experience by removing any measure of determinism. Without the ability to lock, it is simply too much rng to progress a chain at all.
