retention was already rough this league so I guess ggg decided that theres no harm in killing of the last players still playing. Makes sense since they said they are more concerned with player numbers on leaguestart.
I was having fun building my own little temple now that there was a way it was worth doing, but I guess my fault for being to slow. Unless a new strat is found the mechanic is DOA for me. the damage is already done why ruin it for the players still playing? |

For over 10 years, GGG has always been against fun. They're driven by perverted minds, and this patch is a prime example of that. :)
It works as intended.

Insta quit .. after so many hours building my temple is literally bricked . Totally unfair decision .. what a way to destroy all good faith

Classic GGG. I actually did not even have time to make the temple layout. Was half way done and now its gone. All the hours wasted. But im glad the 0.1% of the top players manage to ruin the economy and make bank on this while the rest of us just have to suffer.

i've spent about 2000 hours on this game and these kinds of decisions are really getting on my nerves. I’m buying supporter packs to back you guys but you’re literally stopping me from having fun, it’s total nonsense

You knew endgame needs a rework, I figured temple being crazy was on purpose. To see how long it took for people to figure out what works was actually pretty cool.
Instead of skipping out on yet another league mechanic, I was perfectly okay with the people who stuck with it ending up with insane temples. Mapping is boring... There isn't a good endgame and you take away the only thing helping with player retention. Crazy. |

Way too much time went by before this happened. I understand that the holidays likely played a part in the delay. Regardless, I don't think there's any way to justify these changes at this point. This killed the league
