I wish I could run a temple now. Sadly I haven't got to the point of a legacy temple, so GGG screwed me big time, big bad step in the heart for me.

Jonathan Rogers, co-founder and Game Director of Path of Exile 2, has reiterated this stance, noting that mid-league nerfs are "strictly worse if you get nerfed while playing the game" because they disrupt player progression and morale.

I’ve never seen an indie Dev team actively fuck over players who can’t put in 4-8 hrs of playtime a day. This does nothing but screw the people who were putting temples together. The only real fix is to wipe currency completely, or revert this patch AND Holten so those of us who didn’t get to print divines for 2 weeks straight can hope to keep pace. Otherwise this essentially prices out the majority of the player base from any top tier endgame content, as we won’t be able to afford gear or crafting items good enough to survive. I’m so disappointed in this dev team, and how they could just actively screw over the majority of their players. Glad I spent all that money on the MT store, so at least my toons will look cool when they’re getting shithoused on t15s.

Joke's on you guys. Never liked the temple, never played it (a lot). The whole Holten abuse, building snakes shenanigans, farming 10000 divs per 3 mins, went over my head.

It aint the whole fiasco with what followed. It was just a bad design to start with, no surprise we are here now.

When you form a correct six-person team and enter the first room of the temple, it's already the daily income of casual players, taking less than ten seconds
The earnings from one round are more than what you can earn in an entire season, which is truly outrageous
What's even more outrageous is that GGG doesn't want to change at all
