So glad GGG did this patch because it gives players the chance to stop playing POE and try other games! Well done! GGG, you are on the right path to zero online players!

I am writing this email as a Path of Exile 2 player to formally express my serious dissatisfaction with the recent developments in the game and to request a full refund for the game as well as all in-game purchases I have made.

Over a long period of time, the development team has consistently failed to take player feedback into account, resulting in regular players being unfairly punished for playing the game in a normal and legitimate way. Most notably, during the current season, the Vaal Temple farming method was actively used by many players for nearly a month, allowing them to accumulate significant wealth without intervention. However, once other players began using the same method, it was suddenly and heavily nerfed, rendering it nearly unusable.

This situation has:

Created severe unfairness among players,

Irreversibly damaged the in-game economy,

Penalized players who were playing honestly and as intended,

Seriously undermined my trust in both the development team and the game itself.

Under these circumstances, I no longer enjoy playing Path of Exile 2 and have completely lost confidence in the product. For this reason, I am requesting a refund not only for the base game, but also for all in-game purchases I have made throughout my time playing, including (but not limited to) microtransactions, supporter packs, and other paid content.

I believe that the product and paid content I purchased have failed to provide the fair, consistent, and balanced gameplay experience that was promised. I respectfully ask that my refund request be reviewed and that I be contacted regarding the outcome.

What he said... Every single one of us should be asking for a refund, I'm not even joking. What's going on right now is actually insane. How do they think this is OK?

This is a great mirror of the real world economy right now. This hurts everyone but the top 1%. GG GGG. Great job screwing over 99%. A patch like this should reset EVERYONE'S temple down to zero.

This patch feels deeply discouraging.

GGG has effectively nerfed the one endgame loop that actually felt engaging in a game that already struggles with meaningful endgame progression. Three days into a league, most players can already annihilate all available content—so why target the one system that made progression feel deliberate and rewarding?

I woke up excited to log in each day. Building and progressing the Temple felt meta-progressive in a way the rest of the endgame simply doesn’t. It was interactive, it had planning, and it gave a real sense of momentum.

Yes, we can all agree the loot was overtuned. But why nerf the building and locking mechanics—arguably the most interesting and well-designed part of the system? This patch doesn’t seem to address the real issues. Instead, it disproportionately punishes everyone except the top 0.1%.

My Temple isn’t even fully optimized, yet it still delivers more excitement and dopamine than the entirety of the current endgame. And because of that, I see zero reason to go back to mapping—something we’ve been doing for over a year now with no meaningful changes or evolution.

At the very least, please revert the lock changes. Let players continue to build toward something. Even if rewards are tuned down, progression itself needs to feel like progression.

As a longtime player I can't believe what this playerbase has become.

It's sad to see. People playing this game used to have a brain. PoE won't work with no brain.

after days of playing was finally starting to see the results of building the temple....and now its dead, please revert asap, rather have a crazy market were everyone can farm rather then a shit market thats cornered by the people that already got to enjoy fat loot

I have been trying to clear my temple to build a better one.

I was thinking of coming home & starting a new character even. I definitely wont be doing that now.



Was excited for the league, I've been doubling back to find the mechanic. Gave us something to do at endgame.

The fact that's its more difficult to build a decent temple is a TERRIBLE change. I'll play briefly for another day or two to see how it pans out, but likely done with this league now, shame.

Once my temple is clear, I'll assess how much of as a headache it'll be to build something worthwhile, but I'll quit if it becomes too tedious.



I've brought plenty of supporter pack's in my time but not got one in a while because I never play long enough to use my points...

Its the hours of time wasted my guy... no one really cares about the loot..

They wasted so many players time.
