0.4.0c Hotfix 13

Dear GGG,
I'm deeply saddened by your decision today. I understand nerfing overall loot gained from the Temple. What I don't understand is taking away our ability to build the Temple. I really enjoyed building mine, and now it´s impossible. Please reconsider your decision, we enjoy getting dings and building Temple.

What's the point of telling your players that the only reason they're still playing your game, has been destroyed? Especially when it's the core mechanic of the league you've been working on for weeks?
in my opinion the league was safed by the big loot temple.. first of all everyone was crying no loot no loot no loot.. then they realized you have to put a SHITLOAD of efford into it to make it print like crazy.. imagine ppl setting up a temple for like 60 hours to make it print like 60d per temple and now you gonna dump it mid league? i really dont understand what influence your following guys..
Every successful league always had an abundance of loot (look at 3.23 affliction, nem3 farming in scourge or even risk farm in merc), and while adding diminishing returns to the modifiers is fine - deleting the ability to build perfect temple, therefore locking the top-end content for the majority of player base, is absolutely not. This hotfix is probably the most out of touch mid league patch I've seen since I've started playing the game in 2018.

I think this is the most easiest way to let out how the casuals feel .

Im sure ALOT of the casuals look up to the top 1% or the streamers for build inspirations and gameplay. Since 0.1 the gap between what the casuals can achieve compared to the top 1% has been huge.

Now with the temple in 0.4 , i felt that for the first time everyone has a fair chance of getting the 'dopamine' spike (loot/raw currency) if they put in the effort to build the temple. But with this hotfix , every single casual's chance to have fun has been removed. Hours upon hours from our limited availability that we poured onto the game has been rendered useless whilst the gap between the top 1% and the casuals widen even more .

We the casuals just want the fun mannn and now its gone . I felt like the grind was worth it eventho my snake was not even halfway completed because i knew that if given abit more time completing the temple , we will be rewarded .

But i guess , casuals never win...


This patch killed this league - very bad job. It was best league ever poe1/poe2...now who not have full temple will never made full temple...

At this point I am deriving actual pleasure from knowing that this is such a huge error that it's going to force GGG's hand and we might actually get some meaningful god damn change towards this game instead of whatever the hell we've had to put up with for the last year

Once again, I would like to point out that Jonathan seems incapable of running the game
Damn, still frustrated thinking about the guys at GGG making such descisions while playing modded Terraria. Well, at least thats still a damn good game.
