0.4.0c Hotfix 13
" We get it, you don't want to engage with the temple, do not wish to put in the effort building requires, so you sit back and giggle at those that it effects. They didn't fix bugs, the gutted a mechanic people were engaged in while not actually addressing the issues those who engaged with the exploits created. Sitting there, patting yourself on the back for your own virtue, while gleefully taunting those in distress kinda makes you look like a douche. |

Well.. GGG just delete posts now?!

Really confused on these patches:
-Nerf holten -Nerf holten again + buff temple loot -Nerf temple loot, nerf ability to build temple (literally cannot build it anymore), and change what rooms grant what stats. what should players expect in future patches for this game? the direction for this game has been ALL OVER the place since the launch of early access an entire year ago. when people log in to a game and dedicate their time to something, especially PoE because you are locked into a build for your entire playthrough, they ARE without a doubt entitled to the preservation of that time. this HOTFIX; not even a full blown patch, stole in totality hundreds of thousands of hours across your player base. If you, GGG, do not come out and make a direct statement to your community... what it shows is you do not care about the money they give you to fund your game, you do not respect their time, and you don't want them to enjoy the game you make. I love your game and definitely will continue to play it, but it sucks that I am FORCED to quit this league because building my temple out the way I was planning is no longer an obtainable goal as it would take 200+ hours to build now. Please revert this hotfix and just let people enjoy playing the league. You can make Vaal Temple more balanced in the next league, the damage is already done this league. |

I understand the need to change this but this has no compensation whatsoever.
If the goal of the temple is to have constant shifting layouts, then ENCOURAGE the destabilization. Here's some ideas you could have added in: - Provide a loot buff for each destabilized room on the next run. - Add more medallion slots and buff medallion drop rates. - Atziri will fill up your crystal power so you can run temple permanently when cleared - Xipocado always drops 3 medallions - Xipocado restricted rooms significantly buff the temple, but destabilize after 3 - 5 runs There's so many options here to at least compensate (like what was done for Holten). This is so antithetical GGG style that it's kind of unbelievable. I wondered why my lock stopped working on my T1 room earlier, now I know. None of what I am writing will get read because hundreds of posts are going up every second, but basically this was not a well thought out change. It's actually mind-boggling to watch how much good will was destroyed in a small hotfix just 5 hours ago. Unbelievable. |

The previous time that a game patch destroyed the work invested and ultimately my enjoyment of a game in this manner was Diablo IV. (Blizzard reverted it, but I stopped playing that game permanently.)

Seems odd you would change anything with the economy being a dumpster fire and this feels knee jerk without any real thought.

dude why r u punishing casual players instead of those who already printed 10000x D and this hot fix has no influence to their completed temple.
JUST DELETE THE TEMPLE THEN PLZ |

I could not care less about the complaints from trade leaguers, but for the goal of making temple builds more varied and dynamic, I don't think this change is the best way to achieve that. Disabling the lock medallions entirely would have been much cleaner and prevent the legacy temple issues. Or making spymasters needing to connect to a path/disabling medallion drops for spymasters not on a path.
Hopefully we get more changes before it goes core. |

" who weren't exploiting Holten, because you were to slow? for sure you were on the way to do it! |
